Don’t sail Norwegian...the food pretty much ruined the entire experience. Damaged my wife’s luggage, and refused to make it right.

The Norwegian Getaway is a fun ship for parents and children. They could’ve used another pool for the amount of people onboard. We’ve been on 50plus cruises( mostly royal Caribbean) 5 on Norwegian and it seems Norwegian stabilizers aren’t great compared to RCC,or Princess,or Celebrity....a lot of vibration and swaying( again were in the midship) and comparatively not great!

Book any shows early. Eat at the specialty dining, or dining room. Buffet sucked.

I won’t go on another Norwegian Lacks a lot of good customer service that I am use to Not relaxing as you have to always figure out shows and dining Bingo is expensive Casino had no incentives Casino did not pay out. Drink package is great Specialty restaurants good but prepared to pay extra Only 2 shows for entertainment that are complimentary- very long almost 2 hours Comedy good but you need to book in advance Atrium has shows but small area, so not a lot can see it. Honestly I would pick carnival or celebrity anytime over Norwegian

Go to the main restaurants, not always to the buffet. Dance everynight in H2o Spice after the atrium shows Every activity is kid friendly if is before 11:00 PM

Make dinner reservations at the main dining rooms. Buffet was excellent but hard to find seating

Just enjoy all the activities in the ship, go everywhere, explore and do different things

I would not travel on Norwegian unless I booked a Haven suite. Each restaurant has an unchanging menu. So if you want a different eating experience you need to eat at the specialty restaurants.

I have never felt so crowded ,rushed ave food, extra charges everywhere

If you want a lounge chair in the pool area, get there early! Avoid some of the crowds in the buffet by going to the dining rooms. The food is great and you don't have to dodge people to get to it!
