Review summary

I would take this cruise again for a beach getaway........not the most outstanding but a friendly crew, good service, a pleasant atmosphere in the evening, and adequate dining and entertainment choices.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room Tropicana was noisy but service was fast and food was good and plentiful. It is best to set up a reservation time even tho it is anytime dining so that you can avoid waiting in line each night.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were small and very crowded especially on cruising days but there were lots of activities to keep everyone busy and entertained. Lounge chairs were always "occupied" and difficult to find 2 seats together. Waiters were always available.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Entertainment was either excellent like The Million Dollar Quartet and Burning Love or really poor like the welcoming show and the comedians.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The cruiseline broke the wheel on my luggage when it was delivered from the port and it was replaced with a new suitcase. There were always lines at the front desk, but additional personnel went along the line to help.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Standard. Water slides were fun and adequate to keep lines short.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was 11407 and was a considerable distance from the elevator. Very little ship movement. Noise during the night like ice dropping from the ice machine. Housekeeper was excellent.

Ship tip

Make dinner reservations at the main dining rooms. Buffet was excellent but hard to find seating

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Took all day tour with RT&T tours with included bus tour, boat trip, snorkeling from boat, beach time and light snack.....wonderful way to see island...Snorkeling on reel was like National Geographic in terms of the coral viewed and the clearness of the water. Boat crew was safety conscious.

Harvest Caye, Belize

5 out of 5
Great new facility with lounges and beach. Zip line available at $89. Food and shops are outside sources, not NCL. Ship docked...no tender.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
Fun shopping and sightseeing at the port.......Mexican flyers, dolphins, and pirate show to entertain cruisers. Typical shops and restaurants.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Took snorkel tour ending at Playa Mia.....Playa Mia is an excelllent "day" place for families with 2 adult pools, a childrens' play pool, lockers, a buffet with unlimited drinks, lounges, beach. Very new and clean. Food was excellent. Taxis available outside entrance. Cost is $40-$60 depending if you want the buffet (alll you can eat) and the unlimited drinks. I would spend my day in Cozumel here.....about 30 minute taxi ride from port.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and timely
