Don't cruise the larger ships unless you have children. Very good kids programs. Otherwise, stick to the smaller class ships. 4000 passengers is too many.

If you have the ability to stay in the Haven, do it. You will be much less stressed and will have a place to get away from the crowds and rowdy people.

Be sure to enjoy the Tropicana dancing dining room with live band. It gives you a Ricky Ricardo romantic cuban flare. Really nice

I suggest that you add drawers to cabin furniture. At the Buffet they should add cream cheese and they should get rid of having bread/pastries in an enclosed clear shelves. The line was big and had to wait a long time to be able to get a piece of bread. Needs more entertainment.

Make sure you bring a pair of closed toe shoes if you or your children plan to run the Ropes course. Flip flops, sandals, or even TEVA water-shoes (as I had) will not cut it on the Ropes course. Luckily, I had a pair of running shoes so I went back to my cabin, put them on, and had a blast!

Be sure to try O'Sheehans. Not a lot of options on the menu, but they are so accommodating we always received what we wanted. Check out the waterfront on deck 8 - since we couldn't view the ocean from our balcony stateroom we spent some time at the back of the ship on deck 8. It's a great view!

The main dining room, Tropicana, is a good bet. Food is the same as the others but they have nightly entertainment. Savor is fine but Taste has disappointed twice. Also had dinner in Moderno, and that's not to be missed if you like meat.

Definitely download the Norwegian iConcierge app. It is free through the ship's wifi (without additional wifi costs). It's great to have all the activities at your fingertips. You can make reservations and manage your onboard account from your phone.

I liked the way they did the smaller dining rooms Taste and Savor. They were like dining in an elegant restaurant

I would always buy the 7 night restaurant package for $139. The restaurants are super. My favorite (both for seafood and steak) is Cagney's. Unless you like crowds, avoid the pool area.
