Small ship and not many activities for four days at sea.

Be prepared to provide a credit card that will remain on file for all charges. Also bring a small flash light if you are in an inside cabin. Can be very dark. Bring a power strip if you intend on bringing any electronics, curling iron etc that need to be plugged or charged. Outlets are limited

Restaurants are overpriced! Loudspeakers in the pool area and sunbathing deck should be shut off! Extremely loud. Don't sail on the Norwegian Gem. Period! There is not one American worker on the ship. They don't understand English very well. This ship is a complete joke!

Don't bring a hairdryer, they have them in the room. Also they provide a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower.

Don't expect too much. After all I had heard about the wonders of cruising, this one fell far short of my expectations.

Timely notification of itinerary change - my brother received email notification and I never did. The BJs representative was not aware of the issue and I was kept on hold over :40 minutes by Norwegian to only be told of a $50 credit. Will likely go back to Royal Carribean for any future travel.

the ship is nice, the help is very good and friendly. i never ate at the buffet, not enough room to sit everyone and the buffet was always too crowded.

Dine in the Grand Pacific. At night curl up on deck seven and sleep outside for awhile.

food package is a great deal beverage package you still pay 18% gratuities on photo package is nice pose for all the back drops they offer get some great memories professionally don for free. bring lyso wipes for your room wipe all surfacs down yourself thouands of fingeprints all over walls etc
