Family Vacation

Sail Date: May 07, 2016

Reviewed: 6 months ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

Our cruise was full of fun and our family had tons to celebrate.  Birthday....40th wedding anniversary (ours)...first communion....retirement....and we did not stop all week long.  So much to do...Highly recommend this itinerary and ship...

Cabin / Stateroom
Our cabin was well taken care of....our cabin steward went above and beyond...Always there whenever needed. The best!!!!
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality
Staff was always maintaining all the time...very clean...
Destinations and Excursions
Unfortunately due to an issue to the ship we were unable to go to the private. Yes we were given a credit but then our family had to purchase excursions that we had not planned on. However our time was well spent and we had a good time....I just felt that a cabin that had more than two people should have received more in the way of a credit.
Onboard Activities
Children's Programs
Entertainment
Service and Staff
Our cabin steward was exceptional....
Food and Dining
First night our dining service was a bit off....mix up in drink orders (charged and never received) and our grandson received his meal way after all of us got ours.
New York, New York
Port Canaveral, Florida
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
Did not get to go....problems with the ship propellor and we had to stay docked for two days in Nassau. Only informed the day before we were to set sail. We did get to purchase additional excursions.
Nassau, Bahamas

Tip

Be prepared to provide a credit card that will remain on file for all charges. Also bring a small flash light if you are in an inside cabin. Can be very dark. Bring a power strip if you intend on bringing any electronics, curling iron etc that need to be plugged or charged. Outlets are limited
