Book a cabin close to elevator or you will spend 15 minutes a day walking to your cabin. It is a huge ship!

The ship itinerary was excellent. My first piece of advice is to bring a carry-on bag with a swimsuit, toiletries, and dinner apparel as the main suitcases will be delivered later in the evening. My next piece of advice is to walk through the Garden Cafe before grabbing a plate. So many options.

It is a good idea to reserve excursions and entertainment at home before you go. There are so many options it is nice to plan ahead while you have more time.

I'd suggest bring beach bag onboard with you, cause room and luggage wont be ready till late afternoon, take soda/water bottles to put in room fridge, and be patient with elevators, keep in mind there are over 4000 people aboard, we never waited long and were a big group, took a few minutes sometimes

Make reservations for the shows you want to see on the first day. Some of the shows fill up quickly.

Definitely book excursions through the ship. World-class cities available, but some ports are far removed from the sights you want to visit. It can be time-consuming, expensive and frustrating to make your own way in a strange city. It's well worth the price to book through the cruise line.

Even though the ship was full, our luggage arrived to our stateroom early. The itinerary is very good. We even left a bag behind at the port when we disembarked and we received a call promptly letting us know about it! The staff is very friendly and the food quality is great!!

If boarding in Rome as we did, you can forget about bringing your own luggage aboard. If it isn't the size of an airline carry-on, they will take it from you and deliver it later that afternoon/evening.

We received the Unlimited Beverage Package (adult) as a promotion. We felt that this was a must have to really enjoy the cruise. We were able to order multiple glasses of wine with dinner and could drink at any of the bars and lounges and shows at not additional cost. I very much recommend this.

Pay extra for the upgraded dining or you'll be disappointed. Not as many planned activities on the ship as other Cruiselines.
