Excellent cruise experience!!

Sail Date: June 07, 2015

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

We just disembarked from the Norwegian Epic cruise and it was just an excellent experience!! The cruise was very clean, the service was fantastic, the food was super good and the ship itself has a lot of nice activities and things to do.  There are so many dinning alternatives, that we did not have enough time to try them all.  But the ones we did, were of excellent quality.  The water park is very nice and the ambiance was great!!  We went with our kids and they really enjoyed it.  The only thing we would have changed is the size of the stateroom. We had a balcony stateroom for a family of four (two adults and two kids) and we were a little tight  in there.  So, next time I rather stay in two separate rooms.  We had cruised before with other lines and this was our first time with Norwegian and it turned out that this is now our favorite cruise line.  I would definitely recommend the Norwegian Epic!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
So many alternatives, variety and excellent quality!
Service and Staff
Our stateroom attendant was Renato and he was super nice and very helpful with our requests.
Entertainment
Dreams Cirque was fantastic, as well as Legends in Concert! Magician show was also great!
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Cabin / Stateroom
The cabin was great regarding cleanliness, amenities, comfortable beds and the attendant Renato was great. The only thing is that we were a little tight in there being a family of four (two adults and two kids). The is not enough room left to walk through it.
Barcelona, Spain
We visited Camp Nou, Sagrada Familia and many other places and it was great.
Naples, Italy
We went to Capri and it is so beautiful, the views were breathtaking.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
The Vatican and the Coliseum are magnificent!
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
We liked the Tower of Pisa
Cannes, France
Our favorite part was the Old Town and its market
Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands
We visited an old Plaza de Toros and the Bellver Castle

Tip

Even though the ship was full, our luggage arrived to our stateroom early. The itinerary is very good. We even left a bag behind at the port when we disembarked and we received a call promptly letting us know about it! The staff is very friendly and the food quality is great!!
