Review summary
I have cruised many times. This was my 2nd time on NCL. Overall, the cruise was nice. I think that the cruise industry as a whole is so concerned with quantity that quality is declining. Perhaps they should stop here with the mega ships and refocus on service. The employees are clearly over worked. They are as kind as can be, but their weariness shows. There were many people from many cultures on the cruise which made it even more interesting. The crowd was more mature, a lot of retirees (nothing wrong with that). We are not there yet. 🙂 The food was average nothing to rave about. Cabin steward was awesome, but he needed rest too. Great ports of call.Embarkation

I read many reviews prior to sailing on Epic. I was concerned that the ship would not be up to par. The ship was nice! It was not like your traditional ships with the open atrium, but it was designed well.
