Great Transatlantic With one stain. Unannounced to passengers and crew NCL didn't pay customs fees on spirits to Italian govmnt. Once in Italian waters cocktails were cut off for the rest of the cruise
fair warning this ship has to many people for its size... but consider treating yourself to The Haven.

I'm easy to please but hard to impress. NCL Breakaway had great food in the MDRs, the Buffet and the Haven restaurant. I was extra impressed with the buffet. The hamburger patty was so good I ate it as a chopped steak like from Morrison's or Piccadilly. The hamburger patty was better than Guy's!.... yes...I just said that.
Onboard Activities

A weak point for NCL ships... you can't fit 4000 people in an awkward atrium space that has more blind spots than visible spots for whatever program they offer.
Entertainment

just so hard to get a spot in the tiny venues that had live entertainment. You can stand in the atrium or shakers but the musicians weren't worth it. The only exception was Howl at the Moon. lots of room and good dueling pianos. Burn the Floor surprised me how good it was but "Six" was awful.

I guess I'm not cool. The whole "intimate" venue thing is not my deal.... if your lucky enough to get a seat three people are standing over you. forget about getting a drink

The crew had just had a rare 5 day crew-only cruise from New Orleans to New york. Many passengers wanted to hear all about it. This crew was phenomenal. They were tired at the end of the 16 days. I hate when people treat them bad. But the staff on this ship were so friendly and awsome

My first time in the Haven and not the Last! It was a dfrrent cruise up there...truly a cruise within a cruise.
Really nice place. Go up to the fort atop the city. Go to Picaso museum. tip : the double decker bus line will die down later in the day.... it's well worth it.
