Go into this cruise knowing and expecting people from all over the world and just enjoy the experience and maybe you will meet some really amazing people - also they do make announcements 5xs in many languages it’s justbpart of the experience

Bring Bonine pill for sea sickness if you are sensitive. The ship, when traveling, always rock softly from left to right but not unpleasant.

Be prepared to stand in line for everything. The food is not what we're used to on Holland America, RCC, Celebrity or even Norwegian.

Check out the type of events they have. Like an all white party and great Gatsby night. We didn't know and weren't prepared with the appropriate attire.

Cruise with an open mind, flexible palate and lots of patience. I believe "Americans" were the minority on the ship so with that comes a well diverse group of passengers and their cultures. While it was a fun experience traveling with people around the world, mostly Europeans, the language barrier proved to be a thing at times especially when people were cutting in line or just plain aggressive.

Enjoy your island experience because your ship experience will not be the highlight of your trip. And arrive very early for shows since seating in the theatre is very limited.

Manage expectations. Much of what made cruising great a few years ago is starting to slide a bit. But overall this was a good ship and good cruise and we have no regrets. I also highly recommend the Aurea experience. Well worth the extra money. Then we upgraded our drink package so we never had to worry about "what" we could and could not have.
