Food and Dining

Everyday the buffet was the same. Dining room food was just ok. The dining room staff was very slow always asking to bring more water, coffee, and serving entrees 10-15 min late from other people on our table that ordered at the same time. They were short staffed behind the bar and people selling drinks. I got the all you can drink. Well let me tell you, its not all you can drink. Its only a limited amount of drinks you can order and on top of that they charge you a 15% fee anywhere between $.50 to $1.50.

Onboard Activities

Gym was always full. People would wake up at am to go reserve the pool area chairs and when you go out there, all the chairs had already something on them and could not find a seat anywhere.

Entertainment

Best entertainment. However the cruise ship director was only around for the night shows. He was missing in action all day.

Service and Staff

The staff is all new and really don't know what to do. The dining room staff toofk 10 min our first night because they couldn't find our table. Service was slow.

Beautiful ship but was not staffed. There were closed bars through out the ship due to a lack of service.

I prefer to be charged ¢.50 to $1.50 than the whole package... And why would I need the cruise director at all times?

It's a shame that so many people have not read the details of the "Drinks on us Package". Not just here on Shipmate but on all cruise Forums. It's the old " you get what you pay for".

The " Drinks on us package" is not FREE gratuities. You will be charge as if you had no drink package. BUT, look on the bright side, your only paying about a $1.50 per drink! 10 drinks a day, you are way ahead of the game!

15% per drink. Unlike NCL which charges 20% on the $99 day no matter how many drinks you have. At least with MSC you only pay for what you drink.
