I would opt for Aurea experience next time.

I would recommend booking your excursions on your own and not through MSC. (Their excursions were overpriced and very chaotic.) I would also recommend going to the buffet at non-peak times. Usually around 2-3 it was so busy we couldn’t find a plate or a seat. Also if you’re ordering drinks go ahead and order 2 at a time.

Even if you choose not to go ashore on the cruise, staying on the MSC Seashore was the perfect place for us to "unplug" and "unwind." The SPA facilities as well as the service was superb.

Too many people. The shows were not all good.

Print everything out so youre not missing anything. Book excursions with the cruiseline itself because they will leave you if you dont make it back in time.

Not sure about other ships but on MSC definitely only yacht club, otherwise it’s not worth it.

Please remember it is a large ship with people from over 70 different countries. Be patient and remember you are on vacation what’s the rush?

Be prepared for people on the buffet lines ordering food for multiple people in their group, and kids cutting in and out grabbing things. My cruise had over 1,000 kids on it! Other than main dining room, there are no casual food options.

Be sure to check your American Attitude at the port. This is an Italian line, and they are trying very hard to assimilate into the North American Market... That being said, no, they will not fawn over you etc like RCL or Carnival. Yes, things are different... If your going to try MSC and hold it to standards of above... You are 💯 gonna be disappointed! So stay cruising with those lines. I loved the HANDS off approach myself. I travel solo and do grow tired of the CONSTANT hoopla of the other lines. Again... If you book MSC, know it's a different experience. And as such go with the flow instead of constantly complaining.... Safe Voyages to you all

Two very important things: If you are in need of a wheelchair, you will find it difficult to get one on getting down from your car. You have to go in to registration and THEN you may be able to get one. The other advice is to try and pay for Yacht Club, it is MUCH better than the other type cabins. Plus the food is much better in the Yacht Club dining room.

If you're Instagram famous, this is the ship to take all of your photos

You better have Patience with some Issue with the Staff at least the Embarkation day they need to addressed that to be very well organized.. One very Downside I would never buy a Internet Package Is really Slow the only to have goos benefit is after almost everyone is in port or after Midnight. Drinks options are very limited in Buffet and Dinner are only these ( Beer Wine Soda Juice coffee) you want Cocktail Mocktail or smoothie need to a bar o Pool bar

No matter what enjoy your vacation and relax

Too many small children and ship too large. Prefer smaller ship
MarcusS
Stay towards the rear of the ship. The aft elevators were normally empty. It's not that much further to walk to avoid a minutes-long wait for a midship elevator.
TedMSC
If you must sail MSC Seashore make sure you're close to the nearest elevator.

Don't set your expectations too high and don't rule out MSC based only on this ship. I have sailed on MSC Mergavilia and it was one of my favorite cruises.
WineMen69
take a cab or uber do not use there transportation it's Very Disorganized, Take Cash to pay off your onboard Credit or make sure you CC was charged or they will not let you off the ship.

Look at the schedule and then make a plan. There's so many things going on and you wouldn't want to miss anything.

If you want to enjoy drinks at the pool, know that you are not allowed in or around the deck pool with a drink. Have to sit in lounger or at the bar.
