Our decision was very last minute! [The week before leaving!] We didn't get a "rush treatment" at all. Ray, who guided us through the process of deciding which options to choose, was careful to help us personally, according to our needs, and was superb. Another feature stood out hugely for us: The staff on board the ship were KIND, always eager to please, grateful and one wanted to know them personally. They came from so many different countries, but all worked together superbly. That told us a great deal about the ownership of this cruise line.
Embarkation

We needed a wheelchair, and we were SO grateful for that immediate help in embarking. The gentleman who pushed the wheelchair helped tremendously when we got to one of the checkpoints and we couldn't find a certain paper. He quietly helped us go through each paper and found the necessary document! We had been a bit unnerved by all the commotion around us. We were SO impressed with Arthur Estevam!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Our particular restaurant (The Manhattan) that we frequented was superb. And the service was spectacular. It reminded us of "the good ole days!" Our waiter was Surya from Bali, Indonesia.
Onboard Activities

The swimming pools were immaculately clean and pleasant. Actually we made use of them when others went ashore. The fitness center was perfectly situated by the SPA, and well designed. The SPA itself was spectacular, as were those who gave us massages. Zama, from South Africa stands out for her skills. I also had the finest facial I've ever had.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We enjoyed the 9 p.m. shows, and they were tastefully performed, and not too long. We did not care at all for the last night's performance, mainly because the audience was so very rude to the gentleman performing. [And, in honesty, he should not have been performing.]
Children's Programs
We had no children with us, but we DID enjoy the many children accompanying their parents!
Service and Staff

They went way above their expected duties to make us comfortable. They were second to none. In every area of the ship in their patience, thoughtfulness, and kindness.
Ship Quality

The layout was somewhat confusing on each floor, but once we got accustomed to it, we were fine. Too cluttered for our liking. One's eyes could not rest easily on the beauty. They were immaculately clean, and someone was always making certain that it was! The restrooms were equipped beautifully and tastefully designed.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had space to move about comfortably. Plenty of space to put our belongings. The bathroom was fine for us, but we wondered how rather heavy people would function in them. The shower was well designed and the hardware was beautifully designed. Our rather large balcony would have been used more had we gone at a cooler time of the year. It was spacious, though one must be careful because it is not as private as one might think.
Ship tip
Even if you choose not to go ashore on the cruise, staying on the MSC Seashore was the perfect place for us to "unplug" and "unwind." The SPA facilities as well as the service was superb.
This was the perfect place to be able to swim. Easy to disembark. The food however, was disappointing. We particularly enjoyed the shop selling handmade articles from the Bahamas.
