Review summary

Overall, the ships food was sub par and entertainment was not there. The itinerey was very rushed and we didn't even get to see PR because of the timing pulling up at 5PM onboard by 11ish ? And it's dark? That was very disappointing.

Embarkation

A bit hectic as always but OK. Kept you moving

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main Dining room time was set early and we could not change it later. Food was just ok. We bought the 4 speciality restaurant package and 1 out of the four (Seafood place) was horrible, and 1 should not have been a specialty b/c it was Just basically Tacos. The other two were better but not spectacular. Hind site i would have saved my money and ate at the sub par main dining room.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The 1 pool closest to our cabin the Jungle was nice but the ships control board had to be repeatedly BEGGED by customers to open the retractable celling as it was like a sauna in there over 90 and stuffy. Even the pool guards were sweltering and soaking wet tea shirts. Another time we were "IN PORT" and after 3 requests to open up the ceiling they were NOT responsive. Totally unacceptable and inconsiderate to the customers requests.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Overall the ship stage shows were scarce and lacking substance. What you could find time to do was just not worth it in the end. Shows were again few far between short (35 mins) and the comedy was totally lame.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone we encountered that worked on the ship were very nice.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very nicely cleaned and maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was nice but never again do we want to be so far in front of the ship and away from the nearest elevators.

Ship tip

If you must sail MSC Seashore make sure you're close to the nearest elevator.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

No we got on here.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We got to PR at 5PM took about an hour to get off the ship and had to be back on by 11. No time to do anything but walk around in the dark near the Port and grab something quick to eat/

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
Was much nicer as we took an excursion to Magan Bay. Very nice except for the hostile Beach Bar tenders who apparently did not like Tourists or working for that matter. I saw two incidents where the bartenders were extremely rude to customers and borderline hostile. To the point where i did not even order a drink and walked away.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

4 out of 5
We went to the chocolate factory, Cigar place, Rum place, very nice.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Very nice since it's part of MCS and your ship card works and they feed you on the island. Water is beautiful BUT BUT BUT.......full of nearly invisible jelly fish and it was extremely annoying so we went back to the ship.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
We were the FIRST group to disembark and there was no coordination as to where to go or who to follow. Extremely frustrating and confusing.
