Review summary

The ship was beautiful which was one of the main reasons why we chose this ship. But the food was not good, the 'complimentary' restaurants food tasted like it was under a heat lamp for an hour. The buffet served the same food every day, bland tasteless. The speciality restaurants were great namely butchers cut and Ocean cay. I also did not care for the passengers on board as I thought most were rude and tended to skip lines, walk into you and were loud/obnoxious. We also caught COVID on this ship from all the people not covering their mouths when coughing or sneezing. Our room also had a water leak from the bathroom shower that caused the carpet to be constantly wet and was not addressed until we went to guest services where they graciously moved us to a different suite.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

A lot to do in Miami, a lot of great food choices

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Went on an excursion to tour the countryside which was beautiful but felt like we missed out on trying a lot of the different fruits and veggies the island had to offer

George Town, Grand Cayman

We just went to 7mile beach, had great coconut and jerk chicken on the beach. I would recommend getting a day pass at one of the many hotels along the beach to avoid crowds

Cozumel, Mexico

We missed out on an excursion because it took 45 min to get off the ship. It's basically a big tourist trap where they'll charge you too much for their goods and services. Beaches and water are beautiful.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

Don't go further then south beach. We went to Bimini to get away from the crowds but found it only had two bars and two food trucks serving hundreds. The ground transportation was also lacking so walking back was hard to do with no shade.

Thanks for the review. People either love or hate MSC. I found the food to be equivalent to or better than Carnival in Royal Caribbean. It’s nice to have a variety of items other than meat and potatoes.
