NOISY! MIXED WITH RUDE PEOPLE by Majic24

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I will leave you with this. They amount of noise in this ship had me wanting to go home after the first day. Guest services tried their best to help us and moved us to another cabin. But upon checking in the cabin attendant told us, we should not move to this new cabin. Because the people who were in it before us vacated it because the neighbors were playing their speaker etc and were very loud. Overall the potential for a great cruise was greatly diminished because when it came to insulating the cabin's. The architects/engineers missed the boat. Especially this one.

MSC is the BEST cruise line! by themcneils

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape

MSC continues to impress us. Seascape is an amazing ship and the staff and service provided on the cruise was 5 star. MSC is the best cruise line. So much so we have another cruise scheduled in November, 2023 and again in January, 2024.

Beautiful ship- awful experience by Alaska2007

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape

The boat was nice, but from the start there were a lot of people with cold like symptoms on the boat. We tried to be as safe as possible, but by day 5 we both started to feel bad, and when we got home we both tested positive for Covid. When we got to Miami, some of the staff was coughing (no mask wearing) and the cruise line was going back out from port on the same day- there seems to be no concern about spreading the virus to new passengers.

Caribbean Cruise by sbaker1723

Ship and crew were fine. We just felt like we got bait and switched on our room. We played a lot for a Aurea suite but it was not what we expected. Very disappointing.

Disappointed by Sumru

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

First trip with MSC! This wasn’t a true Caribbean experience, more like history. We had taken Eastern Caribbean cruises with other cruise lines and enjoyed stops at Turks and Caicos islands with buffet lunches etc. The nightly shows were too laud, the female singer had a very shrill voice, and the shows didn’t have theme, except the last night.

Yacht Club by TimSpencer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Enjoyed the ship and the cruise was amazing! The staff was amazing! The entertainment was very disappointing but the overall experience was truly enjoyable. Loved the food, the ports and excursions need a little polishing and organization but was an amazing experience! Our United cruise concierge Anita Brown assisted in all the details and helped us make all the arrangements she listened and gave us the cruise we were asking for we are so thankful to have had her assistance.

Poor communication led to confusion and disappointment by stlhusker

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I would not reccommed this cruise unless you are very experienced and won't have any questions. This is a nice ship with a lot of nice features but you don't know what they are or when they are open because newsletter, app and announcements give conflicting information (or none at all.) It seemed like they wanted people to do all these fun things, yet the attitude of cruise directors was very unfriendly which ruined things or they closed up so many things early that you could really only go to casino or main bar after 9 pm. They offered things but seemed like they discouraged you doing anything by closing things so early.

Disappointing by donnamdowning

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Long Check-in Lines. Poor and unorganized Embarkation process. Disembarkation need more people providing guidance and direction. Quality and variety of food menu very poor. Too much usage of WiFi usage (Cell Phones) required by customers to obtain services. Automated Elevators on Embarkation was a Nightmare. Food entrees were not hot enough just barely warm; Drinks Watered Down, Not Real Ice Cream or Sorbet in Dining Room. Too many Pasta Dishes. No real Variety on Buffets and Dinner Entrees.

AMAZING CRUISE by georgi0102ak

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This is a cruise no one wants to miss. Its my third time on a cruise and this one is the best by far. Brand new ship with a modern design and a lot of entertainment and stylish bars and restaurants. The boarding only took a few minutes and as soon as we got on the ship we were greeted by the friendly staff. When we got to our beautiful room our luggage was already delivered. We had a great dining experience from the main dining to the buffet to their specialty restaurants. First stop was at Ocean Cay, very nice private island with a few beautiful beaches, bars and food places. After that we went to Costa Maya, where we took a trip to the 7 color lagoon. The excursion was well organized, lead by a very good tour guy. At night we were entertained by their great artists and musicians. The days at sea were even more fun since the ship offered a variety of activities like pools, water slides, game rooms, dance classes just to name a few. Huge thanks to MSC, the crew and the staff on Seascape for unforgettable experience!

Many positive attributes! by sischob

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We are experienced cruisers (15+), and this overall was the best cruise we've taken. We paid a little more for the Aurea Experience, which was well worth it given access to a private lounging area and dining room. Food quality was superior to what we've experienced, even in the wild and crazy buffet area. Service was wonderful, but quantity of staff was insufficient for a ship with 5200 people on board. Entertainment was excellent- but could have used some more intimate options. Brand new ship was sparkly and very well maintained throughout. Cruise director by far the funniest we've experienced. Encourage you to give MSC a shot!

1. very expensive. 2. gratitude were taken on the second day of the trip, i don't know why??? 3. the waiters and staff-do not speak english at all, it was very difficult to communicate. 4. at the restaurant we were waiting a very long time, like 50 min, after that manager sipy kicked us out explaining that after us people still have to eat. it was so rude. 5. entertainment- is not interesting. 6. Air conditioning-bad working.7.-for this huge ship--pools very small. never again with this company!!!!!
