Water in pool is salty and fairly cold - we were told it is a sea water changed daily - so unless you dont cruise thru warm waters and are sensitive to cold this might be an issue. During our cruise as it was mayden there were issues - i guess - issues with engine filters where from we had ocassionally a mist of oily substance coming from the sky and covering everything - i assume it will be solved quickly but it was problematic on the upper deck pool.

To get a few minutes of free internet, while connected to the ships wifi page, go to the get msc app page and click on the Google app store link. This will allow you to access any of Googles web search and mail for about 15 minutes. You only can do this 5 times per device (unless you spoof your MAC and change IP). By the specialty restaurants, there is a small bar with 4 chairs. This is a nice, intimate place with a wonderful bartender named Ryan. Tell him Key West sent you ;)

Be patient when you are trying to get off at ports of call or at disembarkation. Seemed to always be a bit backed up.

Enjoy all the food. It may not be burgers and fries, but embrace the culinary delights. You must try the pasta.

Make sure you book straight through MSC or they will not accommodate you for the inconvenience of others. They should do better and need more staff to speak and understand English at the front desk.

My biggest tip would be to make sure your room is not on the 19th deck if you're a part of the yacht club, you are below the pool deck and there is always movement about your room. Make sure you plan your timing for your return flight home, we arrived at the airport at 8:00am and flight wasn't until 6:00pm the airport will not take baggage until 6 hours before the flight so very inconvenient.

Highly encourage the Aurea (or higher) option if you can afford it as it gives access to a private outdoor lounging space, as well as access to a exclusive dining room, for not much more $$. It made huge difference for us. I'd also recommend using the Express Walk-off (if you can manage your luggage) as it is smooth and efficient.
