Review summary

Enjoyed the ship and the cruise was amazing! The staff was amazing! The entertainment was very disappointing but the overall experience was truly enjoyable. Loved the food, the ports and excursions need a little polishing and organization but was an amazing experience! Our United cruise concierge Anita Brown assisted in all the details and helped us make all the arrangements she listened and gave us the cruise we were asking for we are so thankful to have had her assistance.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Selecting the Yacht Club made the arrival so easy, once at the port we checked in with porter they accepted our luggage and swiftly checked us in and enjoyed drinks waiting for the room to be available.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were a part of the yacht club experience and having a private dining area was absolutely amazing! The service in the yacht club was exceptional. Found that the main dining restaurants were over crowded and chaotic. Food quality was very consistent though throughout the ship. Very well done.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The water park, the jungle room, the spa, all the pools were a big hit! Water slides were great!

Entertainment

1 out of 5
The theater shows were very disappointing to say the least, the sound quality was pretty bad, the production was worse than a high school musical. Really had high expectations after all other details and finishes of the ship were absolutely gorgeous and extremely thought out.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The Yacht Club experience was absolutely impressive, the staff was exceptional and extremely pleasant! They made the experience so much more than we even could have expected. In the main ship lounge and other bars some of the bartenders were a little rude and appeared overworked and irritable.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the ship and the features of the ship, the ship was very clean! The disappointment was the smoking in the casino which was a surprise to have them sit down and smoke right behind us.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We enjoyed our cabin immensely! The only issue was each and every morning there was furniture and moving of something over our cabin each and every morning waking us almost every morning. The butlers Bullah and Resty were absolutely fantastic! They we very attentive to our every need, our room was kept promptly when requested.

Ship tip

My biggest tip would be to make sure your room is not on the 19th deck if you're a part of the yacht club, you are below the pool deck and there is always movement about your room. Make sure you plan your timing for your return flight home, we arrived at the airport at 8:00am and flight wasn't until 6:00pm the airport will not take baggage until 6 hours before the flight so very inconvenient.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
Love the Miami port, we stayed a few days before departure.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Loved the Ocean Cay reserve, the crab ceviche was incredible and left me wanting it on the ship. It was not available anywhere after this port.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Disembarkation was little more chaotic but smooth, they rush you off too early.
