It's a great ship. Staff is friendly but overworked. Customer service line is very long. Management needs to improve organization and logistics.

Pleasantly surprised. First MSC and would definitely go again.

As first time cruisers, it took us a while to figure out things such as which restaurant we were assigned. The information on the MSC for me app was limited. The ship seemed to be very low tech. The only thing the wifi, that I paid for, could provide was the MSC for Me app. As I stated previously, the wait staff that we had assigned to our dinner table were excellent and attentive. Steak knives should have been offered for any of the beef entrees. I was disappointed that all the "fresh baked goods" were served cold, not even warm. In fact, most of the "hot" food was served warm at best. For the most part they had good flavor. I realize it's a large ship with a lot of people to serve and that shouldn't mean cold food, even the food at the buffet. Butter was not offered with bread, water was only available at the bars. The bartenders were all personable. However, there was no consistency in the Margaritas, some were excellent and others were not very good.

Very disappointed with MSC. It has to improve a lot if they want to cater to US guests. Food, entertainment, service all need to be fixed. This was our anniversary cruise and I wish we would have taken Carnival instead. MSC could be great but still has a lot to learn in the industry.

It could be great, if not of the dinner food. Very, very bad. However, we have been on the same ship back in June, and the food was excellent. What happened?

We have taken several cruises with many other cruise lines and would rate MSC last on the list.

This was a cruise we had rescheduled due to COVID. We were happy to replace a Caribbean cruise with a Canadian one, but unfortunately the weather was not with us and we missed two ports. The ship is beautiful, the service was excellent, the food was good and plentiful. Small extras that we enjoyed on other cruise lines, towel animals, quality towels, walk up food stations ( hamburgers , sushi )were missing or only available at extra costs. Shopping on the ship was limited and/or really high cost. The App is a nightmare and information is often conflicting when talking to customer service. I am still waiting for my credit card charges to finalize. MSC is still new to the American market and I think some of our disappointments were due to this. I do have to say the coffee is good, and the pastries delicious!

Better cruise than anticipated based on some reviews we saw. Fun cruise!

This ship is so beautiful and this was the best cruise I have ever taken. Staff, food, shows, bars , my room were amazingly great! The only disappointment was not being able to go to Halifax and St John Bay of Fundy due to bad weather. Guess I will need to take this cruise again some day!

Cruise was good for what we paid. Probably won’t go on another MSC cruise again though. This was our 4th time and service and quality is less each time.

Did not like standing in a very long line to get the hours changed for dinner, especially we requested the early dinner from home.

Very relaxed, we enjoy the fitness activities. The ship is very spacious and did not seem overwhelm with people. The buffet was noise due to different languages spoke all the time. We found a quiet place by the family-kids section to enjoy a cup of coffee and reading. We really enjoy the pizza and fresh mozzarella cheese.

Overall, this cruise was another great MSC experience. Food was very good, service was fantastic, crew was helpful and friendly. Scheduling of excursions was very frustrating. Didn't know excursion times until late the night before. Times on our agenda on the app would change. Excursion tickets wouldn't match the actual times of the excursions. Spoke with excursion staff on multiple occasions. They were very helpful, and I learned that the excursion and planning system is the problem, not the staff. We will cruise with MSC again.

MSC is not as good as it used to be, especially Main Buffet. A lot of room for improvement.

I would recommend MSC. Don't expect excellent food service in main dining room.

Overall I had a great time on this beautiful ship. The main complaint would be their tender service. If this is how they operate on all their ships, then I would reconsider going on another cruise with MSC, especially cruises with tender service. I would like to be able to visit all the ports, & not get stuck on the ship. I was on another NE & Canada cruise with NCL several years ago, & I had enough time to visit a mansion, cliffwalk & had lunch at one of the restaurants. They should give more time at a port. Since they had problem with their tender service, then they should have extended the time in the port. Leaving at 2 pm is really unreasonable. They should have extended to 6 or 7 pm, so people have enough time to enjoy the port.

Overall, the ship is beautiful and the change in itinerary was due to weather, so I don’t hold that against MSC, however, the dining options need to be looked at as well as maybe a few more activities, other than bingo and trivia to do during the day. This is also not my first MSC cruise. I have been on at least four of their other ships and I find across the fleet. They are all pretty much the same. They are beautiful and laid out very easy to navigate. However, dining options and activity options are not always high on the list

The ship is beautiful. Don't like that THEY pick my tour times !! That has always been my decision on other cruise lines. They way they have the meal times scheduled is NOT passenger friendly at all. Sea Days are horrible if you want a sit down meal - not accomdated for that -- mainly buffet times. I don't think this ship knows how to relate the schedule to fit the cruise. They do not account for the New England weather into their meal schedule at sea or not! Always very long lines to enjoy a sit down meal ! NO, Breakfast time is not friendly at all on sea day - 7-9am??? Really?? & in only one restaurant !!! Lunch is only served on sea day and is only for one hours 12 - 1pm!! NO, people aren't by the pool and are indoors being up North !!! Everyone is eating indoors !!! I doubt I would go on this ship again or recommend it - too many dissappointments.

Overall the cruise was boring. Ship was old, need new furniture, updated decorations. Room was too small and bed uncomfortable. Food was mediocre, either tasteless or too salty. Entertainment was nothing to rave about.
