The best part of any cruise vacation is how you make the best of a bad situation and truly have fun and relax. One thing I will give Princess credit for is very good in room movies and TV shows. all on demand and at your leisure. The Wifi was expensive and slow. Again, we will stick with Royal Caribbean when Cruising.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
We were booked in a mini-suite and other cruises always gave us priority boarding.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
We were expecting excellent service but most times I felt invisible to the wait staff and bartenders, especially at the buffet. The food was very good but the prepaid drink package was a huge disappointment, ie one drink at a time and time limit between drinks. There was no way to get a cocktail and a shot or doubles on their package as I have experienced on other cruise lines.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Found it hard to secure chairs when even though most were taken very early with just a towel and no one sitting in them, even though Princess policy stated there will be no saving of loungers, people did it anyway.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The DJ and ship staff were good but one night the Daily Patter stated "Karaoke All Night" and it was stopped after only one hour.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff

The only exceptional service we received was our room steward. Allen was ALWAYS on top of our needs and went above and beyond, Too bad I can't say the same for the rest of our servers.
Ship Quality

Being on a 21 day cruise you expect to do laundry, too bad the Laundry room was on the other end of the ship from our cabin.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our Mini-Suite was very comfortable and we really liked having two TVs so I could watch while my wife slept. The couch could have been a better fabric, we had to use a sheet on it because it was rough.
Ship tip
Don't! This was our first Princess cruise and unless we are cruising for free, we will not be going with them again. Sticking with RCL.
One of our favorite countries. Loved our Tiger & Elephant excursion. Tigers, we rented a car & driver and it was a better experience than the Ships elephant excursion. Highly suggest setting up your own excursions before hand and you will get a better value than Ship Sold Shore Excursions. One of the low lights of the ship sold tour was a very expensive jewelry store and not much time for other shopping.
This was a good port also and our excursion was a small group of 3 couples and a driver and a guide taking us out to the Mekong Delta and cruising the river and back water ways.
Not much to do, so we took a shuttle to "city center" for shopping. Take a photo of a large landmark near the bus stop and take a cab back to it instead of trying to navigate the streets.
Deck plans when booking are always handy when booking a cabin on a cruise ie: position of amenities. Good luck finding a laundry on Royal Caribbean! What a strange thing to comment about!
