Do a lot of walking to work off the food. We took the stairs all the time. Also, look for price reductions before buying in the onboard shops. Port jewelry will also be less expensive than on board.

This is a very large ship and is difficult to get around if you are in a wheelchair. Elevators are full most of the time with adults, children and strollers making it frustrating to get from one floor to another. All in all, I think this ship is not very accommodating to wheelchair users. With 4,000 people on board, everywhere is crowded and not a lot of room to get around people. Windjammer was the worst as people are going in all directions with plates of food and it is easy to get bumped with people trying to get around you.

Go with carnival. It's cheaper and more fun. But it does have more kids running around, but it you don't mind that....carnival is the way to go. Our anything but royal Caribbean.

My one tip would be to schedule a cruise on Carnival, Princess , Celebrity or any other ship! Many of the staff were rude and acted like they didn't want to be there. I have been on at least 9 cruises and this was by far the least enjoyable!

Maps of the ship's layout are posted on walls by the steps -- very helpful as it is otherwise difficult to know if one is in the front or aft of the ship.

The trivia was fun and we liked hanging out at the Schooner bar where it was held at. Tip arrive early.

Liberty Of the Seas has a great staff, maybe not much to do if you are under 18, but overall a fun experience.
