Harmony of the Seas Cruise Reviews - Reviews

I am prone to motion sickness, but I kept forgetting I was on a floating ship.  Harmony of the Seas is a multi story city.  We felt like we were on a luxury ocean liner.  Ports were so, so. San Juan was a bore since most shops were closed when we went on shore.  Shopping Director should advise that you pay 11% sales tax in San Juan, so don't wait to buy your jewelry there.

Food was incredible, but what's with "Columbus the musical?"  Actors were fine, but there was no story line and it was boring.  Texas Tenors, Grease, Ice Skating excellent. Water show, again, made no sense.  What's with the Whirling Durbish spinning for 15 minutes?  This ship is phenomenal. Everyone should go on this class of ship at least once in a lifetime.

The ship itself was something to be amazed.  It had more than a person  could ask for.  But the customer service was something different.  I had four major issues while on board.  One with the people who cleaned the room, one with room service, one with the people who book shore excursions and one with maintenance.

This is the 2nd cruise within 1.5 years on Royal Caribbean that we have been extremely disappointed in.  The Harmony is a huge beautiful ship & the shows were great. The food and the service was horrible. The MY TIME Dining never worked for our group. Lines were too long & the wait was ridiculous!  I tried to book specialty restaurants before we left and nothing was available until after 9pm!  That never worked with all our shows we had reserved. This forced our group to break up & eat at different times. The Bar Service was horrible and there were hardly any servers on the pool decks. We had to go seek out our own drinks. I honestly feel that since RC started the auto gratuities being added to your onboard account has taken away the drive and desire for servers. We had 23 people in our group & everyone feels exactly the same way.  I honestly don't think we will ever take another RC cruise again.  It's very sad how the cruise industry has changed and is all about the numbers not the customer service.

I was nervous about booking through due to the poor customer svc received from the travel agent after she got the sale. Next time I will book directly with the cruise line itself. Overall the ship was clean with a lot of activities. They have a bar by the arcade and carousel that allows smoking in the area next to little lungs. I found the service onboard to pale in comparison to the other RC ships. The dining staff at the Grande were amazing and the food was great!

 The onboard entertainment was great. Enjoyed our Central Park cabin the balcony and the view was wonderful. Would like to see more late-night food available you get tired of pizza.  Jet skiing was terrible would not recommend it. 

Just about the best cruising experience you could have!  If you need help with excursions, once you board the ship, ask for Gerrson...he is very helpful!  Plenty to do on the largest, most beautiful and technologically advanced ship at sea!

Pros:  best guest accommodation, fully loaded room supplies, lot of activities to do 

Cos:  same food everyday, bad service in Windjammer, not good shows

Improvement:  more variety foods (more soup based), no more sad stories from waiters (everyone I talked to complain how RC don't pay them & they have to depend on our tips, pls pay them), no pre charged tip so employees can work harder toward their tip, better/interesting shows, more smiling faces

My favorite part of the cruise was no doubt the time spent with family members. There were several things on the ship that I would have preferred to see; more people of color working on the ship; staff members more assertive approach about infection control.

Las únicas 2 observaciones q tengo q hacer....el servicio en las barras no fue el mejor...los bartenders lucían molestos la mayoría de las veces....el servicio de limpieza en el área de las piscinas,  baños y comedores exteriores debe mejorar asignando más personal...en mi opinión el personal no está "aware" de la cantidad de personas q transporta el barco  o simplemente les molesta hacer su trabajo...se tardan mucho en atender situaciones por ejemplo frente a mi cabina en el pasillo se rompio un tubo de agua del techo y aunque la situación fue controlada eventualmente daba la impresión de q los tripulantes no sabían q hacer al resoecto.....servicio, siempre voy en busca de servicio...y no me molesta pagar por eso...tienen q mejorar hay mucha oportunidad para hacerlo...no pueden llevar esto al Symphony of the Seas...

Amazing ship!! Food and entertainment were top knotch! Staff at Royal Carribean is exceptional! Great experience with Heather at Crusie One! She helped us from day one, to planning to setting sail!! The Harmony is like no other ship! Words can not describe its uniqueness- you just have to go on the ship and see for yourself!! Fastest embarkation and debarkation!!!

Great new gigantic ship.  There was so much to do all day and night.  The Cruise director staff were all super fun.  The water show, the fine line was amazing.

We went with a superior ocean view balcony room and it was well worth it! The harmony was amazing and didn't feel too packed at most times. Boarding was a beeeze and the destinations were wonderful. We visited Bahamas, st thomas and st Kitts. 

The Harmony is full with new technology gadgets, such as bionic bartender, wireless keycards, IQ pads, etc...But entertainment is poor, food quality is cut back and services are not as good as Oasis or Allure. The dinning rooms are smaller also.

Royal Caribbean is always our first choice for a cruise. The Harmony of the Seas was no disappointment. Everything was perfect, except for the fact that we could only get a continental breakfast without the room service charge. That's the first time that has happened. There was plenty to do and our server at dinner and her helper(got our wine, etc) made the cruise so much fun!

We will always do Royal Caribbean cruises!!

Had a Junior Suite - Excellent Cruise - Staff was Excellent - I did not try any of the specialty restaurants since I spent all my money on the upgraded room.  I would recommend the Harmony. It did get a little overcrowded at times,& ended up taking the stairs quite bit. I wasn't impressed with the stop in St Thomas, Locals I met were rude, like birds of prey all they wanted was our money, Run down in the areas i visited.  However St Kitts was a beautiful Island - the Locals friendly the island beautiful & well cared for. Appciative of our visit. Everyone wanted us to have a good time. IF the ship docked at St kitts for 3 days I would have loved it. Reggae Beach in St Kitts was nice as well( just the ride there was worth it.). Very friendly , good food & watersports. 

Nassau Bahamas,  I walked to the Queens staircase , while the work was truly impressive, Why is there trash all over the place? Take some pride in your neighborhood & national attractions. Maybe they need a bottle deposit law or something. Over al the Ship was great, I would just prefer they stop in better ports for those of us that like to explore on our own, 

Many unique features not found on other ships.  Only problem was the casino, the cigarette smell was so bad if you're not a smoker you won't stay in there.

Sound system is also hard to understand no matter where you are on the ship

This was our honeymoon cruise and it was awesome! The ship was incredible and there was always something fun to do when onboard. The shows were fantastic, the food was always good, and the service from everyone onboard the Harmony was wonderful. Book your excursions before you go if you can as some of the good ones fill up quick and of course you end up paying a bit more on the ship. The best ones for us were riding ATVs at the foot of a volcano in St. Kitts and spending a few hours at Magens Bay in St. Thomas! Also, if you plan on taking a bunch of pictures on the ship, especially on formal night's, buy your photo package early for the discount and then take as many pictures as you can since one of them gives you unlimited pictures for one price. This way you can get pictures everyday with some fun backdrops and ship locations and know you won't have to pick and choose. Lastly, make sure you reserve a spot at the shows and get there about 15 minutes early for the best seats. Don't miss Grease, The Fine Line, Columbus, 1887, and the the comedy shows! We had such a good time we're ready to plan our next destination!

The best part of the cruise was sharing fun times with my family. The ship was amazing and the service was great.  Loved the spa but a little pricy.  Drink package is definitely worth it. No pool in the adult section but still relaxing. We all enjoyed the slides and the many jacuzzis around the ship. Our account was charged incorrectly so we will definitely settle up before getting off ship. Overall was fantastic and we booked another cruise on the ship. 

I definitely would recommend the Harmony of the Seas cruise to others. The ship was huge, plenty to do, and never seemed crowded even though our sailing was sold out. The food was top notch, staff was super friendly, rooms were always clean with fresh towels. We got a seat at the pool everyday, never had to wait in long lines. Most of the shows were outstanding with the exception of one or two but that's just a matter of personal opinion on what you like to see.  Overall this cruise was exceptional. 

My experience on this cruise was not impressive as my past cruise. A lot of details were over looked. Diner in the American was not enjoyable. I've become accustomed to napkins in my lap as soon as I'm  seated and chair being pulled out for me, water and bread was scarce. The little things matter. My passed cruises allowed me to eat in windjammer more. I believed I stood in line a couple times waiting to eat. Lastly, my storeroom was not cleaned as quickly as my past cruises. In past cruises....no matter what time I left my room the housekeeper seem to k mmm ow and when I returned my room was cleaned. My thought about all this is that...maybe the the cruise line is more concerned about the size of the ship that paying more detail to why you customers cruise. We want to be spoiled. Waiting on good and some good being less that what I've experienced is rely off putting. I'm trying to stay a loyal customer so I expect more for my money. I have booked a cruise for October and now I'm on the fence about it.
