Review summary

Just about the best cruising experience you could have!  If you need help with excursions, once you board the ship, ask for Gerrson...he is very helpful!  Plenty to do on the largest, most beautiful and technologically advanced ship at sea!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was quite excellent...the beautiful view from the Windjammer and plentiful buffet options, had us often choosing to eat there instead of the main dining room. The ship could use more Coke Freestyle machines, so you don't have to walk from one end of the ship to the other for a refill and is missing a 24/7 dessert location.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of activities for all kinds of interests and ages. The DreamWorks character breakfast could use some improvement, but overall is a kid pleaser, and the Ultimate Abyss is a creatively designed must-do! Just wish the slides and some of the other activities didn't have times where they are closed, or perhaps they could open them at night on at least one day of the cruise.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Impressive entertainment every day and night...DO NOT MISS COLUMBUS!!!

Service and Staff

Our stateroom attendant Pinky was amazing, getting my suit steamed and dewrinkled in time for the formal night, since no irons are on board. I also dropped my cell phone on the beach in Labadee, and the security staff found it and got it back to the ship before we left port! Very impressive security team!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The crew does an amazing job at keeping every inch of the ship clean, from the bathrooms to the areas where guests leave plates and cups as they roam the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Good size for the price, and while the bathroom is tight as is the case on most cruise ships, they really use the space exceptionally well. Would be nice to have more television channel options to watch before bed and while getting ready in the morning.

Ship tip

If you need help with excursions once you are on the ship, ask for Gerrson...he was very nice and informative. Do not miss Columbus...one of the best productions on land or sea! Consider Windjammer for sit down meals. The main dining has helpful wait staff, but can't beat the Windjammer view

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Wish the ship sailed out of Miami!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

The Aquapark offers fun for all ages, just be aware it does require some upper body strength, but you can make it fun regardless of your physical fitness

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Do not miss the bobsled excursion...lots of fun and has some unexpected surprises, with a beautiful lift ride including stunning views and an impressive performance from several local entertainers near the refreshment area, to enjoy while you wait in line for the ride or after you get off.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
There is only one small (but good) authentic Mexican cafe in the area immediately where the boat docks, so if you are looking for a good culinary experience plan to travel a little bit, otherwise you'll find yourself eating at Margaritaville or Hard Rock.
