Review summary

My experience on this cruise was not impressive as my past cruise. A lot of details were over looked. Diner in the American was not enjoyable. I've become accustomed to napkins in my lap as soon as I'm  seated and chair being pulled out for me, water and bread was scarce. The little things matter. My passed cruises allowed me to eat in windjammer more. I believed I stood in line a couple times waiting to eat. Lastly, my storeroom was not cleaned as quickly as my past cruises. In past cruises....no matter what time I left my room the housekeeper seem to k mmm ow and when I returned my room was cleaned. My thought about all this is that...maybe the the cruise line is more concerned about the size of the ship that paying more detail to why you customers cruise. We want to be spoiled. Waiting on good and some good being less that what I've experienced is rely off putting. I'm trying to stay a loyal customer so I expect more for my money. I have booked a cruise for October and now I'm on the fence about it.

My room was not cleaned often enough.it was cleaned everyday but it mostly was late.

Ship tip

Reconsider. Because the service is lacking. Maybe try out the smaller ships where attention to details is important

Sailed in April great time, met some nice people. Great entertainment, but food is definitely on decline.

Some people just love to complain, you were on a cruise, enjoy.

What the heck is a storeroom? You can't put the napkin on your lap yourself, yes I have done many cruises and they do the napkin, but I am capable of doing this. I think you are nitpicking

I think if you want to be spoiled you go on either the smaller ships or you go on the cruise lines that cater to that- which also means paying the higher price to be spoiled. We go on the mega ships for the ship, fir the shows, the activities and the things we can't get on smaller ships. If I need someone to put my napkin on my lap I'll pay the triple the price and cruise Celebrity or Azamara. We've always had great service on the mega ships, but we also greet the staff with a hello and a smile as well. I've had my napkin placed on my lap plenty of times on Oasis class ships- I just don't need it done. Never had an empty water and generally had to tell them please please no more bread.

definitely not at all what we experienced.

I agree last year I was in the allure and I found it odd they put the napkin in my lap. I also am sailing on Saturday so make sure everything still works. Check in time 1130! :)

I'm on Harmony currently. No complaints here. I've received all of the attention she is whining about and then some. Personally, I'd prefer to put my own napkin in my own lap, but they have done it, and I just thank them and move on

Smh, she sounds like a real dream! Renee does someone drive your car for you, and do all of your shopping for you at home as well? Maybe they should have all of the staff wait on you hand and foot and everyone else can fend for themselves. How does that sound for you? Lol! Your post comes off so pretentious. I hope you didn't mean it that way. you can't always decipher tone by text.

My wife and I just did a back to back on harmony of the seas, from April 29th to May 13th. I have absolutely no complaints. The staff from the mdr to our room attendant did a fabulous job. You should put yourself in their shoes and work 16 hours days for 10 months and hope not to have a bad day once and a while. As far as chair your significant other should do that and are we that petty we can't put our own napkin in your own lap. You did pay a lot of money for a vacation you should relax and enjoy it and let small things be small.

You were on one the largest if not the largest ship with over 6200 people on board. If you want better more personal attention go to ships that are 2500 or smaller.

You should consider suite class on the large Oasis class ships. They spoil you. Smaller ships in my experience always have better service, perhaps you could try one of those.
