Ship: Harmony of the Seas

Cabin type: Balcony

Cabin number: 7582

Review summary

My favorite part of the cruise was no doubt the time spent with family members. There were several things on the ship that I would have preferred to see; more people of color working on the ship; staff members more assertive approach about infection control.

Our waiters Alexander and his co-waiter went above and beyond. They made dining very special for the entire family.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

although the cabin was somewhat okay, the mattress was ridiculously hard and the toilet had a urine odor despite of evidence of some daily cleaning. Lastly, we weren't able to enjoy the balcony due to our neighbor's cigarette odor.

@rroosevelt.... I'm a person of color & I 100% agree with "capttrips". Though, I've only been on 1 cruise, I've even noticed the diversity. My family & I fly to (some where) in the Caribbean every year & we've noticed people from all over the world working & living there. Don't be so close minded. Not EVERYTHING has to be a racial issue. Geez!

I completely read this post wrong. I thought he they meant more people of color ON the ship but I see they said working on the ship. 🤔

Any cruise line has more people working on it from all over the world, probably the most diversified workforce anywhere, any you complain there is not enough people of color??? Do you think it's discriminatory? Really? Being on Harmony twice, I can say there are always people out and about cleaning, and we have to use common sense ourselves.
