I would not recommend this ship to adults without children. I am a grandmother of 10, and a retired preschool teacher, so I adore children but I have never been ona cruise with so many children who where let run unattended, push adults in food lines, who where let take over pool and hot tubs, EVER!

i enjoyed the fact that if you didn't like the selection of food offered in one area, you could always finds something to eat on the ship.

Get to games and events very early to get a seat. Adults only pool is very hot and humid part of ship. Eat all meals in formal dining room. Don't waste money on the speciality dining. Expect long lines for cafe food and Starbucks coffee.

The Park Cafe is great for breakfast. There are rarely lines and the food was always good. It has a limited menu but none of the crowds that are in the Windjammer. The lunch menu is also good.

The Windjammer had fantastic food choices and provided variety. The Gatsby was elegant and the food was delectable, the service made us feel Royal. Malachi our waiter, Barbara our assistant waiter, and TJ the head waiter were fantastic sources of information and enjoyment.

If you tend to get seasick, you may want to consider a larger ship. I had minor seasickness on the 2nd and 9th day. There is soft serve ice cream outside the Windjammer Cafe every day.

As stated above, the Gatsby dining room was outstanding; windjammer was OK; coffee pots were often slow to be refilled at breakfast. Only real complaint is there was no food available late at night. The Palladium Theater was very comfortable and classy. Showers are too small

For example: I did not realize that the pastries with Starbucks were complimentary if you asked, even without coffee

The shopping on board is very limited. We have heard that RC is considering selling the Grandeur in a year or so. It's a great vessel for an intimate cruise experience, but she's showing her age.

Beautiful ship and beautiful trip destinations! One suggestion to the store, please put one more layer protection for glass bottles. I bought few bottles of liquor, and one of them was broken before I arrived home. other than this, everything was excellent, a wonderful trip!

Windjammer Cafe is a buffet-style facility, located forward on Deck 9, open all three meals. If you want to control you caloric intake, choose the Great Gatsby (main dining salon) on decks 4 and 5. We chose flexible "My Time" dinner dining on deck 5 that requires daily reservations once onboard.
