Review summary

We planned this cruise as a relaxing get away from reality. The Grandeur allowed us to relax for the most part. The hits were for the most part a very friendly and helpful staff and crew. We had never stayed in an interior cabin before and were a little concerned but our concerns were short lived when we entered the "large" interior cabin. It was nice, clean and in the end large enough for us to not be crowded. The only miss with the cabin was that my wife had to exit the bed by climbing straight out. The cabinet did not allow her to walk out on her side. Our cabin steward,George, was great. The room was always clean and ready for us.

The itinerary was enjoyable. I especially liked Arcadia National Park and Fair Lawn Cemetery where the dead from the Titanic were buried. St. John's was not a highlight. The weather was nice and the seas were calm for the entire trip  We enjoyed the nightly music in the Centrum, watching the ocean from the top deck and having a refreshing drink in the quiet Viking Crown lounge.

There were a few misses. I had trouble with the WIFI for most of the trip. We choose the plan for one device.and it was slow. The second day we were unable to get the device to load and the second and third days we received an error message that we were already signed on. After repeated visits  and calls to customer services the problem was resolved by cancelling the first plan and buying a new plan. The other miss was the staff of the Park Cafe at the back of the Solarium. The wait staff were never ready for lunch, surly and rude to guests.

All in all, we had another relaxing cruise on Royal Caribbean. We did get to relax and get away from the everyday stresses, We enjoyed the cabin and the friendly and helpful staff along with the nightly music.

How was the size of 8077? We have 8081 and even though it's listed as a large interior, it seems like it may be small still. It's my wife and I, 16yr old and 13yr old in the cabin. Personally, our philosophy is that we only sleep there anyways...but just wondering. Do you have any pics of the cabin by chance? Been on 3 cruises before but this will be our first on Royal

What cabin number did you have? We are in an interior cabin in November. Thank you.

Thanks for your detailed review.  Nice to know that even though not everything well well, you still had a good time.
