Great 1st experience that encourages us to keep on cruising forever... especially in Europe, where cities are extraordinary and deep in history and architecture...

Great cruise by icocam

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

I cruised with my mother for her birthday and the staff made sure she had an amazing time. There was a celebration for all and she was celebrated at the MDR as well. We were very happy. As a first time diamond member I was treated as royalty. This is definitely my favorite line.

Small ship but not lacking in many areas by breezyallen310

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

It is a small ship with less activities. Not too busy, good food. Don’t go during hurricane season because it is not that warm and extremely Rocky at see. Would I do this cruise ship again? No. But, I don’t regret doing it once.

Hurricane Milton Cruise by samenglert

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

We were in great hands and felt safe during the changing circumstances of a possible cat 5 hurricane. Changes were made and the Captain kept us updated regarding destinations and sailing plans as the storm progressed.

Great service with the small ships by katiejbardsley

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

We spent all day wither relaxing or enjoying the activities on the ship. Our waiters were the best! The service is awesome and the excursion was quiet and relaxing. Can't recommend it enough.

Changed Caribbean Cruise by gerryh520

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

We found out late on Sunday night that the Itinerary changed from Cozumel and Costa Maya to Nassau and Freeport. TOOO late to make any changes. Royal Caribbean should have given us more notice to allow for rescheduling or cancellations. We still had a fun cruise, but wanted the Western Caribbean ... not Bahamas

Beautiful, Friendly, West Carribean Cruise by jonellekym

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

The cruise staff are superb and ALWAYS friendly. Wanting to make sure you feel valued and welcomed. The cruise ship was nice and clean. Well maintained. The ports and activities were quite fun and accommodating. Lots to experience. The food was wonderful. I LOVED the Coca-cola Freestyle machines. That was great. Couple of improvements I recommend. I NEVER heard any of the announcements in my room. I turned on the switch and the volume, but never heard them. I wished you could hear the announcements on the TV via the Deck Channel 3. That would have been very helpful. I had NO clue who our cruise director was. I saw snippets of him on TV, but never once saw or interacted with him. I was a little disappointed.

Slightly disappointed by rfmarsh3

Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

A cruise is always a fun vacation. This was more subdued. Not a lot to do. Very crowded. Older ship. Younger crowd.

Great quick getaway by jjcopen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

Overall, a good cruise to go on for a quick trip. If you are looking for a relaxing time with great food and service this is a good option. The ship never felt overly crowded and you could easily find a beach lounger or quiet place to sit and relax.

Exceeded expectations!! by zippyscanoe

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

My wife and I sailed on her last month. I wasn't sure of what to expect as our previous cruise was on an Oasis Class ship. The staff and crew were great, and Jamie, the Cruise Director, was one of the best we have experienced. The ship has aged well. Like the other ships in the fleet you will see ongoing maintenance like painting taking place. New carpets were installed in the common areas this year and WiFi was upgraded to Starlink. And, while it doesn't have the sparkle, glitz, shiny plastics and metal of the new ships, I liked the classic look of natural wood used in many areas. Obviously there are many differences between Grandeur and her newer siblings. For one, there is no helipad deck or lower decks with a forward view. Grandeur doesn't have slides, a fancy water park, or an ice skating rink. No Johnny Rockets, Starbucks, Sorrento's, or Promenade Cafe. Instead, it has Cafe' Latte-tudes on Deck 6, which sells Starbucks branded coffees, a smaller Park Cafe' on Deck 9 aft (forerunner of Cafe' Promenade), which has Sorrento's Pizza, and Windjammer Coffee Station & Sprinkles Ice Cream outside of the Windjammer on Deck 9 forward. Yes, the Windjammer is located forward. There is no Promenade per say, but a more intimate Centrum where many activities take place. Lastly, there a far fewer children. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed Lady G very much. We would not hesitate to sail on her again!

Good by scosta1030

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

Ok. I did not like that some activities like cupcake decoration had a charge. Especially when we had 3 days at sea and there were not much to do. Staff was great!

Just ok by demasjm

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

The people cruising made it fun. They made me a rock star at karaoke lol. They needed more pools and eateries for the number of people. Staff is excellent and very helpful. Billing was also confusing.

Awesome Crew, OK Suites, Marginal Food in Main Dining. Leave your kids at home and stick to the Windjammer for dining and Solarium for the pool.

Was very disappointed that we wasn't contacted about the cruise being rerouted because of a storm. The storm was in that location since June 15 and cruiseline knew of the storm since then I'm pretty sure. Very disappointed we wasn't contacted to cancel. by andre2x70

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

Disappointed cruiseline waited until we board the ship to let us know we were being rerouted to Nassau,Bahamas. Was my honeymoon and would have rescheduled if told earlier in the week.
