This being my 1st cruise didn't leave a great 1st impression. I'm not sure I'll be racing to book another cruise anytime soon.

It a small ship, it was nice to travel on , and great staff

The ship is beautiful, specialty restaurants are the way to go. Make sure you get your drink package and internet packet before you get on the ship!

Probably won’t sail Royal Caribbean again. Not much to do or see, food options too limited, definitely not a great vacation.

I think you will enjoy the Ship depending on who you are overall it was pretty nice but as I stated earlier the staff kind of made my cruise but I was comfortable

This is a message that should be forwarded to the Executive and Senior Leadership of BJ Travel Cruises. The purpose of the letter is to express my deep concern of the ethical practices when booking a cruise: Disclosures- 1. Especially for first time cruisers who sail during hurricane season. 2. Allowing cruisers to make informed decisions. Greetings, I would like to share my concerns, experience during my very first Cruise. My family and I began preparation along with our family friends, Eric, Audrey and their son Johnathan back in December 2018 to plan our first cruise. Our agent at BJ Travel was Wendi Kaye and she was aware that we were first timers. When we decided on a date for our cruise, we were never informed that this was during hurricane season. Our cruise sailed Sept 14-Sept 19, 2019. We were not aware that we were sailing during hurricane season until we heard the reports surrounding the hurricane that hit the Bahamas. At this time, we were 2 weeks away from our sail date, so we were vested with paying over $3,455.60, thousands in preparation for our trip, along with securing the dates with our perspective employers to take the time off). During our travel my daughter was sick 90% of the time and, and I was sick 60% of he time, and could not enjoy the family vacation I paid for. I suffered from motion sickness, nausea, and experienced a great deal of anxiety due to the fact that everywhere I went on the ship, even when I slept, the bed rocked with the waves that hit the boat. My daughter was worse during the trip, and she certainly suffered the worst. Fortunately, my husband was our rock and was not affected on the ship, but when we were home started to feel a little off balanced, and still today, he is not himself. The Vetches' experienced illness during the cruise as well, especially Audrey. Our trip was cut short since we had to leave Bermuda early because there was another storm surrounding Bermuda. On the way home the captain mentioned that we were being hit with 13ft waves. In addition, communication with other cruisers stated that they had never experienced such vigorous conditions. I am very grateful that all of family members and close friends were able to return home safely. I deeply feel that I was not given the opportunity to choose, which is my right, by having the disclosures presented. The final straw was after speaking with one your managers Toya Brown on Sept 20, she informed me that your company is not mandated to disclose any details about traveling during the hurricane season. It is up to the customers to ask the questions and they would provide the answers based on what questions are asked. This is Ludacris! You don’t know what you don’t know! None of the family members or friends had ever been on a cruise before so this was not something we would have known to ask. Whether there is a mandate or not to disclose details regarding traveling in hurricane seasons, it boils down to the ethical practices adhered by your company. My goal through this letter is to present a clear message that we were treated unfairly and should have been informed by our travel agent about the inclement conditions of the hurricane seasons and its potential effects. In addition, since members of my family (including the Vietch family) were sick during the entire trip, I would expect that we can receive a minimum of 20% of what we paid for the cruise. This is a bottom of the barrel cruise, I expected more from Royal Caribbean!

Great cruise and really enjoyed the ship. Bad weather on the way back but can't control mother nature. The service was outstanding and the ship was very clean.

Our full day in Bermuda was cut short and we left about 8 hours early due to a hurricane. There was not much to do on Bermuda in the evening as the island was prepping for the hurricane. There were no incentives for credits or refunds for leaving early. On the way back to Baltimore we hit rough seas. Pools were closed and activities were canceled which made for boring times. There was an activity where staff showed guests how they make the folded animals out of towels. I was confused because we never saw one in our room. Tables by the pools both indoor and outdoor had dirty dishes all over and at times were hard to find a seat. Several times I had to move dirty dishes from one area to another to have a place to Lounge and/or sit.

Disappointed with Royal Caribbean for not offering some credit for this cruise because of all the changes to the itinerary or credit for another cruise. We have two cruises booked for 2020 and 2021. It would be nice to have them offer some additional onboard credit for inconvenience of this past cruise. Our room steward and dining staff were exceptional.

Ship had a smell. Sewage smell throughout some of the floors. only one pool for all the guests. buffet food was ok. buffet times were not convenient. second buffet in the back of the ship required families to walk through and sit in the quiet adult area.

Would we cruise on the Grandeur of the Seas again? You bet! Our over all experience was very good.

I know cruising is very popular, but this was not an experience I am likely to repeat

It was very relaxing. The crew, all staff members were excellent. I especially enjoyed the food in the dining room, and the service there was also excellent. The cabin attendants/house keeping staff were also excellent!

Delightful staff. Well done embarkation and disembarkation. Great interactions. Spa was so helpful with chronic pain. Accupuncture knocked my pain down to nonexistent. Very professional there. Food was excellent. Medical was wonderful with seasickness and any minor injuries. Great for adults.

Although we were to have celebrated our anniversary, it never happened. Not sure who dropped the ball, but the rest of the trip was great. Like I said I would like to have had a copy of me performing with entertainer on stage, I guess it was recorded. Thought for sure it was recorded or at least a picture. No one back home will believe that I did it.

Really very nice time and people on the ship were very nice and attentive Bermuda was GREAT. Weather was perfect and the whole cruise was a great time for me and my family

Bermuda was very nice. I would have preferred an earlier arrival and later departure. It felt like two half days. Arrive at 7 am vice 1 PM and depart at 8 PM vice 2 PM.

Excellent ship and employees. Food was wonderful service the same. Will sail with RC again!
