Review summary

Bermuda was very nice. I would have preferred an earlier arrival and later departure. It felt like two half days. Arrive at 7 am vice 1 PM and depart at 8 PM vice 2 PM.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Arrived about 1240 PM and we were on the ships within 30 minutes. It took longer to park

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Prepare yourself for conversation. You cannot eat and run, everything is at a relaxed pace. Hint Slow

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Not a fan on comedians. Most nights had comedians.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Always willing to help

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean. It would be lovely to have a non smoking ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Beds are very hard. Not good for my back

Ship tip

Most items are overpriced on the ship. Excursion, jewelry, food, art. You will leave poorer if you listen to the staff.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

I live in the area

King's Wharf, Bermuda

4 out of 5
Went to Horseshoe beach by bus with token and took a mini van back for $7. No need to buy the ship excursion.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Not as fast as embarkation.

We live 20 to 25 minutes to port of Baltimore and have sailed out of Baltimore before. But for Bermuda we drive to Bayonne for Anthem or Adventure ot Seas precisely because of the two half day itinerary on Grandeur otS. If you have more time, currently Celebrity (RCCL sister line) offers 7 nights to Bermuda with 2 overnights out of Bayonne.

Glad you liked it, but if you want longer port times, next time book a longer cruise.

Port times are based on how long it takes to get you to the island. The 9 night cruise has longer port times.
