There were a lot of passengers on this cruise with mobility and other diabilities. If you require any kind of medical device, bring multi-outlet adapters and long extension cords because stateroom outlets are limited. VOOM high-speed internet was anything but high-speed. It was expensive and often went out.

Try to book a panoramic view room

Pay attention to the daily schedule. It’s the only way to know what is going on. There is no app to use and events are not well publicized.

Pictures on the ship are expensive, and if you don't buy a package, you just get loose photos, so learn how to pack well so your photos don't get bent traveling. Also, we purchased some alcohol in port, and were told to "carry it on", which sounded funny to us, but we did, so when we got stopped by TSA, we had to get escorted out of the airport and check our bag. Wish they hadn't told us that because we had already checked our bags, so it cost us an extra $35. :(

I wouldn't because they would need to experienced it themselves

reconsider.

The ship has aged and needs to be refurbished, however it was clean and well maintained.

With their super large ships RCCL is definitely aiming at quantity over quality. They are a notch above Carnival and more family oriented. But they don't even try to impress the seasoned cruiser

Attempting to telephone guest relations from my cabin was always a mistake....I'd be on hold for so long, much longer than I'd expect. There was no way to increase volume so hearing the guest relations personnel was difficult.

The Freedom is a great ship I would recommend if your gonna do excursions to plan them online in advance you receive extra discount on price

Take it easy. Its a large ship and lots to do.

You cannot connect to other rooms on the second floor directly.

Afford a personal dinner experience through one of the Specialty Restaurants. We chose Chop"s Grill for a romantic dinner and it was remarkable

We read several blogs about Cruising Tips or Top Ten things to pack. This helped us immensely. We had waterproof bags for our phones, cash and IDs. We packed over the door hooks for the bathroom door (found at the dollar store) and packed canvas bins for the closets and store areas (to keep things organized.) We booked one excursion through the ship and two off the ship (one pre-cruise, one while at port.) next time, we may do all excursions off ship as the vendors are very aware of the ship requirements and departure times.

Make sure you take water and pop to your room during the day, even though the prices keep going up the service has gone down and if you want a water or pop (that used to be in your refrigerator) they will charge you a ridiculous amount of money to bring it to you and for the item. Apparently that is not included.

Eat breakfast in the MDR...it is so "civilized" compared to Windjammer.

The spa / steam rooms were open to all and not a separate package. That was nice.

Very smoky near Casino, avoid smoking areas, comedy shows were excellent! Disembarkation was a disaster, lines bottlenecked and were very slow, I felt bad for people traveling with seniors or children! Standing for hours in hot sun!
