Review summary

Nice cruise. Great ports. Just ok food. I loved the ship, the service, the ports and the rooms were amazing. The showers on this ship were also well designed. My favorite in room showers so far.

Food and Dining

The buffet was ok. The upgraded dining (chops) was amazing. The regular dining room food was pretty bad and even the selection wasn’t great. The beef medallions were poor grade beef. The flavor wasn’t good most nights. Even one night I ordered cheesecake for dessert and I got a piece that looked like it could have been served in a low end restaurant buffet and tasted like it was out of a box. I am Not a complainer. This was my 2nd Royal Caribbean Cruise and 2nd time we didn’t care for the dining room food. We stopped bothering to get dressed up mid week and just went to the buffet each night. Service was always amazing and it was still a beautiful ship and great cruise.

I can’t say enough. Love the cabins on Royal. They are just enough bigger and well designed to make me happy.

Ship tip

The spa / steam rooms were open to all and not a separate package. That was nice.

Lovely area but we ate at the local food court and had food poisoning. It was my first time to do local food in port. I doubt I’ll do that again. Loved

Loved loved loved the zip line. The artisans market was scary. They have 3-4 men per booth trying to get your attention to come buy their stuff. I would never go back there. I’m a big guy who is rarely intimidated but they ruined it for me and I don’t like feeling cornered.
