It was ok by jbrooke1221

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

This was before Covid, so hopefully the ship has berm spruced up. Our room had torn curtains, the toilet backed up causing the room to stink, lots of scuffs and scratches all over the ship.

very relaxing, but the whole experience has some flaws by princessleah48

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We did enjoy the relaxation of a sea cruise and the staff was our favorite thing, but the amount of walking required will make it unlikely that I will ever do it again.

Good Cruise by Richard342

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Very quick embarkation and debarkation. Captains welcome aboard speech seems like he had to be prompted to name the ship and gave wrong day for port call. Had delay due to fuel barge. No notice of excursion being cancelled in Cozumel but made best of it. All ship’s personnel were great. Will sail again with RCL

Pleasantly surprised by ahem13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Overall I enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised. Our room steward was not very helpful or pleasant to deal with and he didn’t do a good job of cleaning. He was always rushing us out of our room and on the last day didn’t even vacuum our room or empty our trash can. The food was good but not great. The shows were okay and the dancers were better than the singers. The shops did not offer great sales. Royal Carribean has not mastered anytime dining and there was chaos in the main dining room. This was my 4th cruise with Royal Carribean and I still prefer NCL more. NCL does all the little things better and those things add up on a cruise.

First Cruise by jbnstrada

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our first cruise. We have 2 small children (Age 5, & 7). They had a blast. The ship is old, and smaller. But, the staff on this ship are AMAZING!!! The food, and dining was delicious. I wish we had more time at the ports, but the water at each port was beautiful when we went for our excursions. The disembarkation was complete chaos. The port of Galveston closed down due to fog, which we understand is beyond the ships control, but trying to get off the boat after the 5 hour delay was stressful, hectic and frustrating, especially when you have 4 bags of luggage and 2 small kids. Overall great experience for our family. I can't rave enough about the staff on this ship. They made our experience worth it.

Pretty awesome by BoilerCruiser80

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

We expected a smaller ship with less activities so not a problem for us. The staff is stellar. Food is okay.

Newbie Cruisers by smithjetz

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

All in all, we had an amazing time! It was a lot cooler than I expected and super windy so gazing at the stars wasn’t an option. Food at the main dining places are edible but next time I will get the all inclusive dining package. Be prepared to meet amazing people on your ship and make new friends from different countries and even the next town over!! The bluest water I’ve ever seen in the ports was worth it all to me!

Enchantment of the Seas by TimothyReg

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Overall we had a nice cruise. The Enchantment of the Seas is an older ship so don't expect all the thrills of a larger ship. I hope the Enchantment undergoes refurbishing/dry dock soon. She needs it.

Great food, excellent service. A bit noisy at times, but I think that’s just a matter of personal taste.

Really fun and great cruise. by kpeiffer123

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Enchantment is a favorite with her lovely Viking Crown Lounge and show rooms. She is a standard vessel of Royal Caribbean’s earlier ships which makes her smaller, easy to navigate, never have to wait for an elevator, everything you need.

Great cruise! by clmcnm2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

We had a family group of 20 people! We had a total of 7 cabins. We were able to dine together at the same 3 tables every night. Many in our group had never cruised before. The 4 night cruise was a great introduction to cruising for them. Our cruise was a wonderful experience!

Least favorite ship of our seven cruises by sugarek

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship itself was a bit disappointing based on our past experiences with Royal Caribbean. I was extremely impressed with the medical facility, doctor and nurse!!! Competent, caring and correct in their actions!

Enchantment Cruise 1/24/2020 by DMS60

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

She is a bit rusty, but she is an older gal, however once you are on board the interior of the ship is quite nice and she is well-maintained, service was excellent, food in dining room was good, casino was fun, we had a wonderful time on Enchantment with great service, would definitely sail on her again. The only thing we didn't like was Progresso, would have preferred a different port. Cozumel however is always a nice stop.

We had such a wonderful time on this cruise. We were looking for a relaxing trip rather than an action packed one and it was just right.

Good starter cruise for a quick getaway by SoSunny

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I love cruising. It’s relaxing and you can ditch your diet. But this little Cruise got off to a bad start by being delayed more than 24 hours, so we lost one of the two ports of call on our short itinerary. This is just one of those things that can happen on a cruise, and the management made the best of it by crediting back pro rated amounts for package deals, and of course, any missed excursions. The ship, however, is in need of an updo, and is missing many of the bells and whistles found on larger ships. Still, it’s a great deal for a quick getaway!

Not wonderful sea sick all but 2 days by Milliekc

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Sea sickness got all of us, so couldn’t use drink packages every day because of rough waves.
