Top notch!  Service next to none.  Everyone has smiles on their faces and seem to be genuinely happy to see you.  The ship is very clean and kept in good repair.  The food is excellent quality even in the buffet.  The adults only restaurant is excellent as well.  Great cruise.....already booked again.Big Smile

Disney knows how to put together a cruise that will be remembered forever.  We brought our two granddaughters on this trip to spend quality time with them and we were not disappointed.  The dining was superb, the characters were wonderful, the destinations were great, our port adventures were the best.  We will definitely be on another! 😎

Fantastic Family Vacation by carolynv29

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Hello all,

It is with great pleasure and appreciation that I write this awesome review of my impression with my first Disney Cruise experience. This was my family and I first cruise and vacation and it was outstanding. The level of professionalism, attention, and ambiance was spectacular. There were many options and the dining experiences were superb. Next time I would like to save money to spend on our trip, get a bigger cabin with a larger bathroom, and spend more time navigating the ship.Hands down a great memory for me and my family.

Disney Magic by acura00

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

My cruise was excellent.  The best part was the wonderful customer service,  the staff was very attentive to our needs.  we had a minor problem in our room.  There was a water leak from the ac room and the carpet got wet.  the staff kept checking up on us and made up for it by giving us a gift and free robes to use while we were on board. there was a lot of wonderful activities for the whole family kept us entertained whole time.  thank you for the wonderful experience.   Big Smile

Disney is the best! by wramsey

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Wife and i went - no kids, no grandchildren (65 yr old). First cruise..very anxious but the crew and staff made it an incredible experience.  The ship has all the care, attention to detail and fun that you would find at Disney world.  They were more expensive, but they treat people right.  Will definitely go again if the chance occurs.

Disney Magic was Magical! by KANIA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my first Disney cruise.  I must say Disney definitely know how to keep children occupied.  I think there should be a little more for adults to do.  Overall it was an exceptional cruise and my daughter had a blast. I think I am Disney'd Out!

Transatlantic Magic by sheatsley280

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Transatlantic

Disney cruises always seem to be the best when it comes to customer service and care. This cruise was no different and was even better than a Disney cruise I took two years ago. The staff was very professional and courteous in every respect, especially in the dining rooms. From our cabin steward up to the Captain of the ship - who we actually met on more than one occasion - there was never a time when we didn't feel appreciated and could easily converse with the crew. One would think a transatlantic crossing would lack activities but on the contrary - we left the cabin in the morning and usually didn't return until dinner, and entertainment aboard is the best on the seven seas. We will do another Disney cruise for sure.

Spring Fling by howardbiegler

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

My wife and I recently cruised the Disney Magic and had an absolute wonderful time. I was a little apprehensive booking this trip since we were not traveling with kids, but my concerns were immediately removed when I looked at all the activities that were design for adults. The service on the Disney Magic was impeccable with all of our needs being satisfied. The evening shows were near Broadway quality and the food in the three main dining rooms was superb. We will definitely cruise Disney again in the future.

This was our first cruise experience and it was absolutely fabulous!  From the time you get on the boat to the end of the cruise, the service is top notch.  The food was terrific and the rotational dining creates a unique relationship with your wait staff.  Our stateroom had a large porthole and was very well appointed and designed. The entertainment is wonderful and my 2 children enjoyed going to all the various activities and seeing the characters.

Disney Does It Best by vkopsmom

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our first cruise.  Traveled with 2 granddaughters ages 12 and 13.  Crew members addressed us by first name after the first day.  Appreciated the crew to passenger ratio.  Were able to give the kids lots of autonomy because we felt they were well monitored by the entire crew.  Shore excursions were well organized.  Appreciated 2 sinks in the state rooms, one in a room with the toilet and another in the room with the tub/shower.  Liked the two mobile phones provided in the state rooms so we could keep in touch with the kids while they were out and about on their own.  Would recommend to any family.  The great cleanliness was much appreciated!!

Love Disney Cruising by puckettfamcruze

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our 2nd cruise with Disney, 1st time on the Magic and it was what I expected from Disney and so much more.

Before I get into all the magic and wonder, I will say that it was our first time at Port Canaveral and I didn't like that experience at all.  The check-in process was awesome, but there were not enough seats for everyone so there were tons of people just standing waiting until the boarding process started. We were one of the people who had to stand, and after being up since 3am for a 6am flight from Houston, TX, then running in the airport to catch the bus, we were pretty exhausted, and then having to stand...it wasn't fun.  That was the worst part of the trip, which wasn't really much in the grand scheme, but I did want to mention.

So on to the real review - the cruise..  I could go on and on about the Disney Magic, the service, the dining experience, the cleanliness of the ship, the best bed on earth, the shows, just all the magic!  They truly do provide a great experience for all.  I was actually surprised to see so many couples cruising with no kids.  We were in cabin 6144 and we loved our stateroom host - always tending to your every need, and if anything goes wrong, they go out of the way to fix it.  Nothing went wrong of course, but had it, I know it would have been immediately addressed.  Our dining team was great as well.  Always attentive and always funny and just all around good people providing good service.  My 9 year old loved this team and hated we had to miss seeing them on the last morning for breakfast.

The shows were awesome! You can't get any better than having Broadway shows onboard the Disney ship.  They are amazing.  We did both family shows and adults shows and loved every minute of each.  I can't forget to mention the movies!  They always show the latest and even movies that haven't come out yet.

The food was great each night in the main dining area as well as the small spots on the 9th deck.  I love the fact that your wait staff goes with you each night to each dining room, and I love that you switch up and you aren't in the same dining room each night.  Also each night for dinner there is always something fun - a show, something.  We do the late dinner each time at 8:15 and it doesn't seem to bother my 9 year old much, but for those thinking about it with younger kids, I will say I saw lots of kids falling asleep at the dinner table.

24 hour room service (free) is great as well.  For those days you don't feel like the lunch buffet or those nights you want that mickey bar before bed.  They were prompt and just as nice as everyone else.

Oh I must mention- we thought it was so amazing that every time we passed staff in the hall or lobby area, they said "hello" - no matter how many times we saw them - they said the most cheerful "hello."  Just really great service and people.

Game shows, crafts and activities for the family, spa sessions, just so much to do for everyone aboard a Disney cruise ship.  You honestly can't go wrong.

Now about the ports - we didn't really care for Cozumel or Grand Cayman.  We are more history buffs instead of beach folks, so we enjoyed learning a bit of the history, but I think it we went again we'd stay onboard the ship and enjoy it.  We loved Jamaica!  We visited the Good Hope Estate and that was an awesome tour and the food was great!  This tour was booked through Disney so if you have a chance for sure do it.  Rough ride getting there as you will go through small roads and small mountains, but well worth it.

Last but surely not least - Castaway Cay, Disney's private island.  What can I say it is Disney and it was great.  Service, food, fun, it truly is a nice place.

I forgot to mention all of the character experiences you have aboard the ship.  Any kids dream!

If you're thinking of cruising Disney, don't think twice, you and your family will love it.

One Cruise, Five Families, Awesome Time by jetli

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This Disney Cruise was awesome. We had a great time as a group and also in our family time. This was everyone else's first time on a cruise but not for my husband and I. We (my husband and I) had done a cruise with a different cruise line once and it does not compare to the Disney Cruise. The staff will spoil you to no end. The kids loved the Oceaneers Club, the adults enjoyed the adult shows, the food was delicious and the shows were award winning. You couldn't ask for more. When it was time to leave we all felt sad but knew that we would do it again in a heartbeat. HappyLove

Great cruise, amazing service by tina434

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Food was very good.  Service was amazing.  Kids area was very good, but kids spent way too much time in front of a screen.  The last Disney cruise we did, the kids area was much more interactive.  That was the only thing that needs improvement.

70th birthday celebration by cperuzze

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We have been on many cruises but this one topped all of them. I think it was because of all the characters..I waited in line for my picture with them and got their autographs. They were all patient with the kids and also the adults. The shows were excellent and I got tears every time we went to the shows and saw the characters. It was a magical place for all. Food was great, the rooms were big even the inside. We usually get a balcony but tried inside it was bigger than some of the balcony rooms. They had free soda and all kinds of flavors of ice cream. Lots of kids but weren't a bother cause they were in their own area. Had fire works with a big celebration at end of cruise. Great food for kids and great food for adults. Also did the aqua dunk water slide which was fabulous. We are going again next year if not before. I loved it. It just made you so happy even when you are older. Well worth the money...

Wonderful experience by rhondaleonard35

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our 3rd Disney cruise, we have sailed on other cruise lines but Disney is the way to go.  While it may seem Disney is more expensive when you are booking your cruise, I think you save money because of the things that are included. Other cruise lines offer buffet only or specialty restaurants you pay for, Disney includes wonderful dining. Others charge 12.00 a day per person for soft drinks, Disney has drink machines that are free, along with ice cream machines, free room service, when you add it all up you save with Disney. The ships are clean, service is amazing. I'm ready to sail again!

dcl southern caribbean cryise by chimaera

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Here at cruise and ports. But the embarkation and disembarkation was very disorganized. Took almost 2 hours to board and also leave. Cruise goes very fast with 5 stops but nice stops. Used St Kitts day as a rest day since it was short. Great food on the cruise also.

Plan On Puerto Rican Time by mp3smo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

First off, it took us about around 2 hours to both board & leave the cruise from the San Juan port due to Puerto Rican customs not knowing any English & not have enough staff there. It was a mess! I suggest you do not plan a flight or rental very close to the departure & arrival time of the cruise, or you will miss it!

Besides the cluster that happened at the San Juan port, the rest of the cruise was okay. There is only one day just at sea, which is the next (second) day. There are a total of 5 destinations all in a row after that, so if you do not have the energy, or just want to relax & not wake up early to go to excursions, this cruise is not for you. We were already exhausted after the second or third day.

The destinations have very poor demographics, so everywhere you go, you will run into homeless people & pushy taxi drivers that trick you into one of their deals so they can get business. If you like or know how to haggle, you might get some good deals on island exclusives. I recommend the drive-thru volcano excursion in St. Lucia & the submarine excursion in Grenada, if you do decide on them.

The entertainment & staff on the cruise itself was very good, which is what you would expect from a Disney cruise. It was smooth sailing & no problems aboard the Disney Magic. The second night at sea is the formal night, so be prepared to dress up for it. I suggest if you go to an adult show at Fathoms after dinner, go early so you can find a seat. Expect the high quality & service that you get from Disney, as they almost never fail to deliver. The last night of the cruise, the ship speeds back to San Juan from the last destination, so be prepared for a bumpy ride back.

I highly recommend Disney cruises, but I do not recommend coming to this port to take ANY cruises due to the problems at the port.

5 stars for Disney not for <img class='agent-replacement' src='/images/hideagent.png'> by najjarht

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

This was my 1st cruse ever, and i'd like to repeat again with them, simply Disney Cruise Line make my vacation Magical. Every thing in the cruse is fantastic (food, activity, entertainments, dining, service). The only thing interrupted my vacation is the arrangement and the bad service and information i get from . (I booked stateroom for two separate beds while its not even available in the cruse) and when i contact them they never help or support or even apologize for this big mistake.
