There are laundry facilities to use, so helpful.
Wifi was EXTREMELY expensive. My husband had to do a bit of work while sailing and data was used up super quickly. He had to replenish it every day. If you are going to post on social media & check email frequently, just make sure to sign in, do what you need to, then sign out. Also, follow the directions they give you so that your phone does not use up too much data while on wifi. (The media department did refund some of our charges because we complained that the data was being used up so quickly.)
This was the first voyage following a two-week drydock. There were some issues to resolve in certain areas related to construction in the concierge level but that didn't affect 99% of the guests on board. Elevators are too small-a single wheelchair or electric scooter occupies the entire elevator.
This ship has been remodeled and looks even better than before.
Older ship but was great!
Join a group of cruisers on this ship and participate in the fish extender exchange. Makes your trip even more magical!
Dont ever miss the live shows at the Walt Disney Theater!
Avoid Disney World Magic Kingdom
We bought a case of beer at the Quiet Cove (adult pool) bar. The kept track of it and we could get a cold beer without going back to our stateroom.
Book a Palo dinner and Brunch if you can get away. The food is amazing and the service impeccable.
Make Sure To Bring Something For The Captains Ball. There Is A Place On Board For You To Keep Your Kids And You And Your Spouse Could Relax And Whenever Your Child Is Ready The Club Will Page You And All You Have To Do Is Pick Them Up!
My advise would be to go to lunch on embarkation day although a lot of advise online says not too, it wasn't crowded and it was a great way to start the vacation and wait for your stateroom to be ready. I would also recomend going to breakfast on disembarktion day, it lets the crowds leave the ship first so you can leave at a more leasurly pace and let's you spend one last sit down meal with your wonderful servers. Otherwise don't try to do it all, just relax and enjoy!
Find out about data charges from your carrier before you go!! Keep your cell phone powered off!!! I never used my cell phone except to keep it charged for emergency and when we got into port at NYC. I received notification from my carrier that the ship conveyed my data usage which cost me $190. WHAT??!!!! I have since found out that even though I signed up for the free 50GB on the ship, turned all notifications and apps off, and did not use the phone, just having it plugged in = "powered on" and it racks up charges which means taking pictures.
Don't assume you wont like an activity until you try it.
Make sure you confirm the type of balcony you book....description is misleading and you could end up with something different than what was represented.
Make sure you download the Disney Cruise Line app BEFORE getting onboard and sharing your guest number with your friends. This was the best way to stay in touch & to see events throughout the day.
The main wonderful thing in that ship is ADULT area. No children. Quite, clean, pool, smoking area. Paradise. Thanks very much!
Download the App. I was easier to track the activities, character times etc. It even showed the menu's for the rest of the week. So it was possible to inform our server to have a different pizza available the next night. Dress up for Pirate and Formal night and definitely pre-purchase the photo package. And lastly remember the Placeholder for the next trip
Enjoy as much as you can. Stay up late and join in.
