Disney Cruise was excellent by DiannaW

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The Disney Ship "Magic" was an incredible experience. The entertainment and available activities were unbelievable: There just wasn't enough time each day to do everything we wanted to do because there were so many great choices. I don't know how that ship made any money (even though it was full) with all the people it had working on it and making sure our experience was marvelous. The only downsides we had: Travel arrangements by Disney weren't ideal (almost missed the boat); our cabin was on Deck 8, just below the main deck, so we heard chairs being set up early each morning; and don't be too picky about the dinner food (seafood is highly salted and salads can be wilted.)

Everything you would expect from Disney! by TheF3

Sail date: /
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The Disney Magic delivered just what is said on the label - Magical, Disney Style!. Great on board programme for the kids, great review shows each evening; 4 very different formal restaurants (one adults only), and of course the chance to meet all of the favorite Disney Charcaters. An adluts only entertainment deck for the grown ups whilst the kids were at the "Oceaneers Club" or the Reef Nursery for the little ones made sure that everyone was happy. Very large Staterooms and great service all round. Having sailded with many other lines, this was by far the best family experience on board a cruise ship.

The Disney Magic was a wonderful trip. The staff make you feel special from the minute you arrive. They leave nothing to chance. Food is spectacular, I gained 5 pounds in 7 days... Characters everywhere. Photo Ops around every corner. The islands were beautiful. A must do!!!!!

Everything I Anticipated and More! by ArliciaJ

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship was spectacular. It was all the magic and wonder of Disney, done with that special Disney flare. You won't be disappointed. It's a bit pricey, but worth the sacrifice. My nine year old son wants to know if we can live on the ship. The programs for the kids are first class, and allow the parents more then enough time to themselves. I don't think you can top what Disney does.

Cruising with Disney ! by BrendaG7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I loved dining in all the different resturants. The cruise it self was wonderful , there was plenty of things to do for the adults as well as the kids. Getting off the ship at the different ports was handled with such ease. The food was great and mt granddaughter enjoyed the character breakfast the best.

Disney Makes Vacation Magic by AmyP11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Disney makes vacation magic at sea, this was my second trip on the magic and they had even improved from the last time we had sailed them 4 years ago. Excellent children's programming for 3 to teens.Disney characters EVERYWHERE to the delight of the young and even the old and entertainment Disney style with several shows based on their music/ fairy tales. I've sailed 2 other cruise lines, and I would not sail any cruise line but Disney with my children.

Disney Cruise by Lynda1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The only complaint I had about the ship was they are very rough on your luggage. Two pieces of my luggage were broken and one piece of my parents' luggage. They collect it in the hall the night before you leave to come home and they must be very hard on it. My two pieces were new. This was alittle frustrating.

Cruisin' Disney Style !! by LaurieD1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Very Clean, very bright and very easy to navigate around. The only down fall of this cruise was the picture taking. be prepared Disney has a crew that takes TONS of pictures at every chance they get. Every night was a 45 min wait to have pictures taken. They are good quality Pictures and it is nice to have but be prepared if you want to buy you will spend big $$$$$$! I bought about half of the pics that was taken by them and I still spent $400.00. So check your digital and see if you may have the same picture that you can develope at home cheaper.

Loved the Disney Magic! by MelissaI2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We just returned home from a week on the Disney Magic. What a great trip! Everything was easy... there were no hassles! The rooms were very nice, the crew was fabulous, the characters were everywhere, the professional photographers were very good, the evening shows were excellent, the kids enjoyed the kids clubs. The only things we didn't like was the pools were very crowded on sea days and the food wasn't great... especially the breakfast buffet. The dinner choices got better as the week progressed though. We only had to tender into one port (Grand Cayman). Castaway Cay was the best! There were 8 in our group and we all had a wonderful time!

Disney can be Magic by Rick3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Disney Magic is just that; there is something for everyone and lots to enjoy. Entertainment is at the center of everything. Their shows - while somewhat slanted towards a young audience - are of excellent quality and pure enjoyment. The Oceanear Club and Oceanear Lab are really good activity centers for children; however, beware of the number of kids under the age 6, despite Disney's efforts, young children may be overwhelmed by how many of their peers can be checked into the kid's program at a given time. If you love Disney, you won't be disappointed. Characters are everywhere and you have multiple opportunities to see everyone you love. While some of the Disney touches are subtle, most knock you over the head - in a good way. Food on the Disney Magic varies. For some experienced diners or cruisers, the food selection may be a bit too basic; however, the quality was excellent and Disney showed a real commitment to meeting the needs of the whole family. I was impressed with Disney's customer service. They responded immediately and effectively to any expressed concerns and I was consistently happy with their response. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time and enjoyed every single day on the Disney Magic.
