Review summary

The ship was what you would expect from Disney....impeccably clean, organized, efficiently run, etc. The staff was similarly exceptionally nice, accommodating and ready to help.

The food was good, but the kids were served first and it took a long time for the adults to get served and the food sometimes was cold. The dinners frankly lasted WAY too long with kids.

There is nothing more incredible than Stingray City that sounds like a tourist trap but is actually incredible. The Disney excursion allowed for 45 minutes of time with the stingrays which was plenty, but the last time I went there with a different line, we were given squid to feed them so there were a ton of them swimming around so that we could touch them. Without the food to attract them, we saw a lot less until another ship came up and their captain put squid in the water to feed them. That was GREAT !

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

more actiivites at the beach would have been nice. The food was the best of the trip ! Fabulous Bar-B-Q. Also didn't like the fact that you had to pay for everything extra....an innertube, a raft, etc.

Don't Miss: Scuba diving

Pros: The entertainment and kids activities were great, especially because there was also so much to do as a family or adults only !!

Cons: The food service was really slow and the late seating at 8:30pm is just way too late for kids. I have sent recommendations to Disney Cruise Lines to change their seatings to 5 or 5:30 for the early and 7 or 7:30 for the late seating.

Recommends Disney Magic? Yes!

I agree that the late seating hour is too late for kids. Seems like you had a pretty good vacation.
