Disney makes vacation magic at sea, this was my second trip on the magic and they had even improved from the last time we had sailed them 4 years ago. Excellent children's programming for 3 to teens.Disney characters EVERYWHERE to the delight of the young and even the old and entertainment Disney style with several shows based on their music/ fairy tales. I've sailed 2 other cruise lines, and I would not sail any cruise line but Disney with my children.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Children are served first which is nice to keep them busy. Character breakfast is amazing- a big production. You rotate through 3 restaurants and your servers rotate with you- Animator's Palate was everyone's favorite- the room is filled cartoons and goes from black and white to color during dinner
Entertainment
5 out of 5
DIsney characters everywhere, Disney shows, first run movies, new aerial view television above the family pool with older movies, 3 pools, you will hear someone say "there's nothing to do".
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
The children's programming is amazing and children's staff is EXCELLENT (and feel secure leaving them there, I was talking with a crew member from the teen group who said she had to go through about 8 interviews and an extensive background check before being hired by Disney, and she was a licensed social worker).
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Ship staff understands that a large percentage of their cruisers are children and are certainly willing/ able to help. For instance, my 2 year old was melting down because she decided she wanted her stickers, and we had none in the middle of dinner. My husband goes back to the room to find them, and can't. He sees our room steward, and says, "do you happen to have any stickers?" He digs through his cart, finds these generic green stickers, "will these work?" My husband thanked him profusely, returned to dinner, and my daughter contently stuck her green circles in her coloring book.

Our social director (the 2 year old) wasn't in the finest of spirits this day, so we didn't get to do much. The aquarium is old and small, but good for small kids, I would recommend going at a feeding time, it makes it a lot more interesting
I love Castaway Cay- its a very relaxing day, you don't have to worry about anything, Disney sets up a big lunch in the middle of the day, you just have to get yourself to the beach, which is of course, very clean
Cabbed it to Paradise Beach which is GREAT! Very clean, for $9.00 you get a wristband for their watersports, which my 12 year old enjoyed. Even my 2 year old went out and jumped on the water trampoline (she was free). Food is a little pricey, but beach is free, so it all evens out
Booked an excursion online through a local company and took my 12 year old son to Stingray City which he LOVED, some good snorkeling by a reef, and to Rum Point Beach where they fed us lunch
