I wish there were more than one electrical outlet adjacent to the bed. My wife and I both use a CPAP machine. I had to rent an extension cord in order for me to get power to my machine.

bring your pirate wear. get familiar with the layout of the ship prior to cruise. Board as early as possible so that you can explore and get the lay of the ship before you set sail because once the cruise starts to with so much to do and see there is no time to waste.

Get there and check-in to board as earliest as possible. The having and extra four to five hours on the ship the day of departure makes it seem as if you've added an additional day to your cruise.

With all seriousness, if you can...sail for longer than 3 nights so that you get a day at sea. The 5 night is ideal. We will probably not do another 3 night. We have done 4 night on the Dream and 5 night on the Magic. Sail for as long as you can afford!! I really cannot stress enough to try your best to take a longer sailing.

Once you sail on the Disney Dream, it is like a dream come true! You will not want to go to any other type of cruise line after you sail on a Disney cruise. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure that you have exceptional service, and that you are taken care of. During our dining dinner experience on one evening, a lady fell and cut her leg on the floor. The dining team and all kinds of Staff of authority came rushing to her side and assisted her as well as her family. Very caring and concerned, and the staff displayed that in all that they chose to do for each and every guest. You will not be disappointed if you book on the Disney Dream!

It’s overpriced. Extremely. Have not figured out what we got for a 5 day 4 night cruise that we have had on other cruises. This cost $3200. Did it to make memories with the family. But only once at this price. And felt little for it.

Realize you can't do it all. The ship is huge and there are so many activities. Slow down and just enjoy it because your days go by so quick. Explore the ship on your first day and prioritize the things you have to do!
