It is great to have food available at all times but don’t expect the best food And most stops are very touristy….not really a feel for the locals

Don't right now! One of the engines giving problems that it was very noisey, Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point was taken out of our stops cuz of engine problems, we booked our cruise to see it all and what did we get was each person $100.00 would of rather seen the ports

It is worth every penny. The staff went above and beyond to make our cruise great.

Excursions can fill up and sell out fast. Be sure to book any that sound good to you as far in advance as you can.

Take advantage of the room service

Don’t expect the ship app to work properly. It is very glitchy. I recommend getting a wristband holder for your medallion before you go. I didn’t want to deal with a lanyard the whole trip. Bring paper/digital backups of your documents.

I'd say you should be careful to have enough space in case you get ill or need to be in your room more.

watch out for hidden costs like restaurants - they look you in the eye and say no charge then charge you when you eat there

Don’t do it the ship is not operating at full speed cut all of our excursions and short time and I ended up with Covid after being there

Make sure to understand how long you will be visiting a port. I think some of the port stops are too short.

Make sure the cruise line knows your food preferences before you sail.

Go on another ship
GenieCruiser
This is an older, smaller ship.

Good luck!! Check your account daily for incorrect charges and be prepared to spend half your vacation at the customer service desk!

Bring a portable fan. The AC on this older ship wasn’t cool enough for me.

DON'T sail on the Crown Princess.

1. Do not purchase the additional Wi-Fi connections. They never did work, I complained, I got the runaround. Not enough money to pursue however it’s $70 I will never see again. Second piece of advice, their onboard billing system is very poorly designed. What is on the app doesn’t reflect what is actually in their system.

We booked our cruise through Cruises Only. We had to battle for our proper drink package. I would tell any one to please check what you paid for to what you are receiving when on the ship. There were many people that had billing errors.

Enjoy all they have to offer and have a good look around.
