We had to switch rooms because of the smell of cigarette smoke in hallway New room was nice but could use bedside receptacles The size was great and bed was amazing….shower nice and hot

It is great to have food available at all times but don’t expect the best food And most stops are very touristy….not really a feel for the locals

Great points and very true. Mainline cruises do not serve top quality food. You are paying less per day for the whole cruise than the cost of just one top quality meal at a land based fancy restaurant... Alaska ports are touristy. Most of these ports would probably not exist if it wasn't for tourists... if you cruise with those expectations, you will be able to enjoy it.
