Review summary

American Airlines was the travel agent. They were fault on a couple of promises: 1) their price guarantee was phony and they did not honor it; and 2) they indicated we would get an upgrade (my wife's elite status also is suppose to provide it), and we did not. This was particularly offensive when there were plenty of open cabins at a higher grade.

The Covid testing results were not in one of our group had to get it there. It was not posted where and when we hit the stop, we had to go to the other end of the parking lot.

Food and drink was great. We commend our table servers: Waitress VANESSA - Philippines and Jr Waiter KRISHNA - Mauritius. WONDERFUL. They made the experience excellent.

The steward was great and very helpful. We were entitled to an upgrade but did not get it. The smoking location was moved to our end of the ship which resulted in 3-4 days of tobacco smell in the halls outside our cabin. Additionally, there were about 50 open cabins on our floor alone. Upgrading would not have been a big deal, even with the limitations on numbers due to Covid.

This was first for us. We have been on at least 4 previous trips and we had not been to this port before. The Ranger presentation was excellent on the recent historical move of the native group, Tlingits.
