This was our first cruise, we had a lovely time and have already discussed booking another cruise. This ship was well run and it seems that the crew have great respect for their shipmates and captain. Cruise Director, Eddy Jenkins made this cruise for us! He is so witty and personable. I would have liked to be able to have a chat with him but he is so busy with all of his duties.

Excellent trip! Originally it was just the two of us going, but we quickly grew to a group of 11. Although we did much separately, we were very appreciative of the dining room staff that arranged a table for all of us in the main dining room each evening.

We went on this cruise to escape Christmas, and to get away from the awful weather. It was a lovely break from all the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping etc. We had a lovely relaxing time, except for some of the other cruisers noisy children, but I guess we should have expected that! Not a bad way to spend Christmas at all!

Overall amazing. Go to the buffet, they always change .

We loved it, we had a great time and it was relaxing and so much fun. My sister and I shared a room and our brother and his wife were next door. Great way to travel as a family. My sister's first time to Alaska so it was fun seeing it through her eyes.

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and my husband. We seriously enjoyed every second!

Everything about this cruise excellent. The crew were very attentive, interactive and provided tremendous service. The ship was immaculate and beautiful. The food was very good. I would definitely recommend this cruise to both new cruisers and repeat cruisers.

I enjoyed experiencing Tahini, New Zealand, and Sydney Australia. Words cannot express how much I enjoyed visiting these places. However, the dining, entertainment, and activities aboard the Solstice were the worst! Also, my excursions that I setup through Celebrity were terrible and a total waste of my money!

Overall best cruise experience in quite a while. We have Elite Status with another cruise line, but may make this our new first choice. Since Hubby is handicapped and in his mid 90's, we are limited in what we can do, on and off the ship. So having a friendly and relaxing experience on the ship is what we most need. This cruise did not disappoint.

This was the first time that I have been on a 7-night cruise. It was a lot of fun with a lot of activities to do.

Overall, the cruise was great, but the service in the common areas needs improvement. Also, the main dinning room needs improvement.

We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our first cruise on Celebrity. We recently sailed 2 cruises on another line and thought that line was high end, but this cruise on Celebrity matched it! We love days at sea, so only 2 ports was fine & both were new experiences for us. The stay in Cabo was overnight, so we had 1 & 1/2 days there, which was really nice. Passengers were also the most friendly of any cruise we’d been on, we met so many great people! WONDERFUL WEEK-we hated to leave the ship, the staff & new friends!

This was a dream vacation for us. We were in awe of the nature all around us. Alaska is a beautiful place. We have already scheduled another one for next year. The staff on board were all so wonderful, from the cruise director Kelly to Jay our cabin steward. The wait staff in the dining room were also very good and fun and the food was very good. I am thankful the Janice, our travel agent, made the suggestions that she did. It was and absolutely wonderful trip.

The overall cruise was a good experience for us and an easy way to travel to another country.

Celebrity Solstice is very nice and clean ship, all the crew and staff are nice, and very polite, they always has a smile on there face. The performers were all excellent. I recommend this ship to everyone.

After 8 previous cruises, this was our first time on Celebrity. We wanted to try a different cruise line, and tried very hard to judge this cruise on its own merits, and not on the basis of ways it differs from our usual line. Bottom line was that we liked the cruise and itinerary a little more than we thought we would (as we had been to the majority of ports of call previously), but the ship and shipboard experience a little less. Depending on the itinerary, we may sail Celebrity again, but likely on a different ship than the Solstice. And speaking of itinerary, we had a change that isn’t reflected in the ports of call section of this survey. Just want to say that the marine museum in Santa Barbara was very interesting, and is definitely worth a visit. There is a coupon for two-for-one admission on the town map handed out in port.

Great cruise, great staff. The issue is that the ship requires maintenance - extensive visible maintenance is required.
