Review summary

This was our first cruise, we had a lovely time and have already discussed booking another cruise. This ship was well run and it seems that the crew have great respect for their shipmates and captain. Cruise Director, Eddy Jenkins made this cruise for us! He is so witty and personable. I would have liked to be able to have a chat with him but he is so busy with all of his duties.

I think excursions are pricy. Next time look at Viator or trip advisor. They might fit your budget. The cruises are an investment, but if you can do one or two excursions it will seem worth it. I read reviews and go with mid priced excursions. Glad you enjoyed your first cruise!

You should have done the Lumberjack Show in Ketchikan. Was not expensive and so much fun!

Thanks for sharing this review. It is too bad you felt that the ports and excursions were too expensive and didn't visit. I think you left a great vacation with a great itinerary on the table by this decision.
