This was my first celebrity cruise. Check all the details before cruising in celebrity ( we called to see if we could bring bottle of water and they told us only 1Lr per guess) I saw people taking to the cruise 36 bottle of 12oz of water as well of 12 cans of Monster.

Allow time for elevators. Try the specialty restaurants. Relax and enjoy. Our cruise came with basic internet and classic drink package. We upgraded both to premium packages.

Be prepared for extra charges to do some things you wish were included. Be sure you bargain with the locals because they will take advantage of you!

This cruise line is just right, mostly for Adults. Still #1 on our list. Yes we tried most that don't kill the wallet. Stay true Celebrity!

Maybe consider a different ship. If the itinerary is what you want then be prepared for a less than average celebrity ship.

Negotiate getting the classic beverage package into your contract, and don't plan on using wifi. Half the time the Celebrity app didn't work because of wifi weakness/outages, let alone work on a laptop.

Excursion tour on a catamaran to the Pitons was nice and comfortable. I only regret that beach towels were not offered from tour operator, nor did the program from Celebrity acknowledge you should bring a beach towel as there was an opportunity to swim at a local beach close to the Pitons.

The Equinox does not have all the flashy amenities found on more modern, family-focused cruise ships. You won't find water slides, laser tag, ice skating, or other high-tech attractions. So if you want a flashy mega-ship with endless onboard thrills for kids, this isn't the right fit. But for travelers seeking a classic cruising experience with fine dining, and refined entertainment, the Equinox shines. This is a ship best-suited for adults and families with older kids looking for an upscale, peaceful atmosphere. The Equinox harkens back to the golden age of cruising. So be aware it lacks modern hyper-stimulating features but provides a more classic cruising experience.
