The itinerary is great on paper, and could be great in reality if Celebrity gets its shore excursions act together. Celebrity's website provides only the skimpiest info on where each excursion goes - - Celebrity stopped producing its brochure on the excursions - - so it is hard to choose them over excursions from other companies. And when some of our party did go on a Celebrity excursion, the Celebrity tour spent a third as much time at the attraction as the Celebrity website said they would. Celebrity must have decided shore excursions are not a profit center or an attraction to would-be passengers.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining room was great, good food and even better waiter. Buffet had many dishes oversalted. For some brown dishes (e.g.mushroom tofu goulash, mole chicken, beef lasagna) salt was the ONLY taste.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Celebrity is not Carnival or Royal Caribbean, but the facilities they did have were fun. Great gym. Small swimming pools. Fun trivia and other games.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Kind of hit or miss on the stage shows. The comedian was pretty bad. Carib band not good when they played on pool deck, but great when in the Atrium.
Children's Programs
all 7 of us were over 30
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Celebrity still has the best service and staff of the mid-range lines.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Odd tendency to rope off toilets in public areas for long periods (days). And as there are not many of them, it can be a real problem if you need to go.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Size and cleanliness were fine, but the rounded mattresses at the foot of the bed were a problem especially if you separate the beds. The foot of the bed is a half circle, and the short end of that half circle leaves your feet hanging over. Maybe even your upper shin, if you are 6 ft tall. Ankles hanging over if you are 5'4".
Ship tip
Negotiate getting the classic beverage package into your contract, and don't plan on using wifi. Half the time the Celebrity app didn't work because of wifi weakness/outages, let alone work on a laptop.
Two of us did a Celebrity excursion to Chichen Itza, advertised as 6 hours travel and 3 hours touring the site. Reality was 6 hours travel and a little less than an hour touring the site. On site was rush, rush, rush.
