Poor selection of food in Main dining, pasta was cold 2 occasions. Specialty dining too expensive especially with the mandatory 20% tip even after my tips were covered in my cruise booking.

Review summary

Not the same Celebrity as I went on in 2019 as far as personalize touch that you expect. Food from main dining not as good as it appears they moved the better selections of meats to their Specialty Dining to try to take more money from their passengers.

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Specialty dining too expensive. Main dining seems to have moved the better meal selections to their specialty dining venues to try to extract more money from their passengers. Pasta dishes arrived to our table cold on 2 occasions. Personal touches have been lost. For our 51st anniversary we only received a piece of dessert but previous Celebrity cruise we received rose pedals and towel kissing swans on our bed. Spa was very over priced with a mandatory 20% tip added. Cruise disappointed us.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We played Bingo nd Deal or No Deal. They were okay.

Entertainment

Most stage show were good. Didn’t care for their comedian but that was ust our opinion.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Cabin service and Food servers were good. I found theGuest Service group was very good.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very good although no electrical outlets near the bed for my CPAP machine. The cabin steward ran an extension cord to make it work.

Ship tip

Don’t expect as many personalized services as they use to give.

Definitely a lot of changes since the last time you cruised. Happy anniversary! Thank you for your review.

i wonder if they're still struggling to hire full staff since the shutdown. I know RCI is the more healthy of the cruise lines but it seems like everyone is running a tighter operation

Thanks for sharing and sorry everything wasn't up to your expectations. And Happy Anniversary! Lack of 120 volt outlets is not an oversight, it is for safety. Why would the ship builder make it convenient for a passenger to use a hair dryer while laying on arguably the most flammable item in the room, the bedding? The outlets are near countertops for a reason.
