Equinox is an older ship meaning that they should keep the ship paint in shape. I know salt water damage anything that is in the water but when doing maintenance to a balcony please clean everything. To sit on the balcony we have to put beach towels to enjoy the view as well of cleaning the wood bar full with salt. On the floor were all the dirt and paint.
Being my first cruise in celebrity my expectations were a little bit higher that other cruise ship. I will try another celebrity ship but for few days to see the difference

I went only to the buffet. The desserts are great, the food was almost the same each night. They made to order cheeseburgers, chicken, fish sandwiches, those taste amazing. Hot dogs were 100 % beef. Taste great.
Someone that we meet there told us that he was checking the buffet because the dining food was not that good.
Onboard Activities

No rock climbing on this ship, pool were small for amount of people were there. They had an adult private pool that was nice, fitness center was very nice and enough machines.
I went to a Dot activities and was fun even though they didn’t have enough stencils for anyone.
They had a glass making items that you can purchase from $120 and up. They show you how to make your piece. A little bit expensive.
Entertainment

Stage show “singers” were good. Why I said good because the music was too loud and the singers has to compete with the music. I use headphones that way I could enjoy the show. Probably my ears are a little bit more sensitive than others but I saw people leaving in each show I went to. Probably they have the same issue or they want to do something else.
Other performers were good also. Was one comedian that I loved, made us laugh from beginning to end

The service was great. Room steward forgot few things in our cabinet but was minor. Loved seeing the captain and other high crew members around the ship and taking to all of us. That is a plus. You don’t see that in other cruises. There also play games with us ( the crew is very competitive)

Around the cruise was very clean and they always were cleaning. The buffet section were clean and they tried to do the best to clean the tables, etc as soon as they could.
Cabin / Stateroom

We got a veranda so the room was nice and spacious. They need to pay a little bit of attention of changing the water glass each day as well of cleaning the shampoo bottles and keeping an eye of the room being stock with Kleenex. This are minor things if you
Don’t drink a lot of water, etc in your cabin.
We wanted ice each day in our cabin and steward nailed each day. He apologized at the end in case he made a mistake.
Balcony need it a little bit more Love and care.
Ship tip
This was my first celebrity cruise. Check all the details before cruising in celebrity ( we called to see if we could bring bottle of water and they told us only 1Lr per guess) I saw people taking to the cruise 36 bottle of 12oz of water as well of 12 cans of Monster.
Give 3 star for Puerto Rico because we got there at 4pm and not of the shops were closed by 6pm was very dark and is not too safe to stay out unless you are close to the ship
Loved it, including the food. Went to a restaurant in the middle of the port and the service was fantastic as well of food and drinks. ( Por Taino Bay )
