Do your homework. Know how much you drink and spend, if you are a big drinker then it may be worth it. It was not for us, even with purchasing multiple drinks a day we spent maybe 1/4 of the drink package cost.

If your heart is set on seeing a theater show in a good seat, arrive 30 min early. 20 min early will work, seating choices won’t be as good. Also, eat in the main dining rooms at least a few times for the full cruise experience. The Edge is a gorgeous ship with so much to do and explore. Don’t miss any of it!

Book dinner reservations even for MDR ones. We had Anytime Dining but made reservations for all 4 restaurants, and arriving 15 minutes early was not a problem as other guests were waiting for a table. They sat us almost immediately.

Five (5) cruise ships in each port at same tome made shopping, museum hopping and dining impossible. This was a total waste of money

Plan to have sit down meals if you like hot food and bring all types of medications because the dayquil in the store on board was $21.99.

If you want a balcony, or want to book a balcony guarantee, specify that it is not a "porthole balcony". The view/obstruction was more than 50% and should not be charged as a balcony room.

My tip to those who are about to sail on Celebrity Edge is to join the activities to your liking. Make friends and enjoy the time in this cruise. You will have a very friendly and involved Ship Captain and Officers. The Ships Crew were amazing. Treat them well and you will get the best experience in this Ship. The ship is very beautiful and you need to explore it. Don’t miss the Mast Bar burgers and the Espresso Martini or Lychee Martini in the Martini Bar. Try to book your Dinners ahead and also enjoy the Ocean Cafe Buffet line.
