Review summary

Great cruise, all and all we enjoyed it. Had a few setbacks, but we made the best of it. Life is all about how you react to situations you cannot control. We had an on-board credit but when we inquired with and guest services, no one had an answer as to where it was it then showed up after the 3rd or 4th day, luckily, we still had enough time to use it on board. Do your homework drink packages are pricey and not worth it in my opinion, we would never drink $700-$1000 worth of any drinks in 1 week, but they do try to sell you this constantly. Otherwise.. the cruise was nice relaxing, and the staff was super friendly and eager to help.

It was perfect for us. The infinity balcony with glass was my favorite. We slept with the window open every night!

Ship tip

Do your homework. Know how much you drink and spend, if you are a big drinker then it may be worth it. It was not for us, even with purchasing multiple drinks a day we spent maybe 1/4 of the drink package cost.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

We enjoyed the Space Needle, Pike's Place, and the Harbor Cruise. Lots to see and eat. Public transportation is fairly easy to maneuver and close to most attractions.

Ketchikan, Alaska

We did a short excursion, it was nothing too exciting, but did take us to some beautiful spots for pictures and did see some beautiful bald eagles. Learned all about totem polls.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER Did not visit port

Medical emergency on board. We were very disappointed.

Juneau, Alaska

Did a whale watching, and Mendenhall Glacier excursion, both were excellent.

Skagway, Alaska

We only walked and visited the local shops. The only excursion we could see was the train, but we did not get a chance to book it.

Victoria, British Columbia

Victoria is beautiful, but the time at the port was very short, did not allow for much except a brief walk around the town, even the local coffee shops were closed.

There is starting to be a disconnect on prices for drinks and packages.. Many people are moving away from it..

Sounds great. We don’t find the drinks packages worthwhile either
